Internship Experience:
Alteryx's Internship Program is a place where students from varied backgrounds, identities, and experiences come together to lay the groundwork for their futures. What You'll Do:
As an intern on our Data Science team, you will:

• Design, build, and deploy a new tool into Alteryx Designer
• Work cross-functionally with colleagues from Alteryx Marketing, Sales and Customer Success to identify and solve complex business problems using data and analytics
• Use data science techniques to create innovative Data Science products to improve data science democratization for Alteryx customers, improving the effectiveness and efficiency of their business while deepening their knowledge of data science

• Become familiar with analytic process best practices including data pipeline development, visualization techniques, problem formulation, analysis, model development and business partnership
• Work collectively with our team of world-class data scientists to deliver key industry tools

Required Skills:

• Students currently enrolled in a degree program in pursuit of Data Science, Computer Science, or related field

• Ability to work for 12 consecutive weeks during the Summer 2022
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. and should not require visa sponsorship now or in the future
• Experience with programming in Python
• Prior experience or coursework with data science, computer vision, natural language processing, or machine learning

Valued Skills:

• Students within 1 year of graduation preferred (e.g., graduating between December 2022 through June 2023)
• Experience with working with private/public sector data sets to address impactful problems that deliver measurable value
• Experience with JavaScript, React/Redux, Typescript, HTML5
• Experience with Alteryx Designer / Server
• Experience leveraging visualization tools (Tableau, Qlik, etc.) to translate process/model output into business/customer insights

Compensation:
Alteryx is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary for this role is $40/hour. This position is also remote-friendly and, as such, compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
