Do you want to play a role in global commerce?
As the Operational Excellence intern in our Denver office, you will work on a discernible project over your 10-12 week internship. We are seeking someone who is looking to gain experience outside the classroom to develop skills and further career interests in the Operational Excellence/Lean Six Sigma field. This internship is an opportunity to gain exposure to diverse areas within the Industrial Real Estate space, both Corporate and / or Real Estate Operations and Development.
What’s needed in order to do that:
Partner with Operational Excellence and field teams to hear about their problem-solving needs
Develop Standard Work for various operational processes
Conduct time observations of various operational processes
Conduct capacity and workload analysis for various roles within the company
Provide support preparing for continuous improvement/kaizen events or focused problem-solving activities such as A3 problem solving
Collaborate with various members of the Operational Excellence team to support work across regions or value streams such as leasing, customer relationship management, and construction

Advanced Junior or Senior level student working towards Bachelors’ degree
Coursework or experience in an engineering field, with a focus in process or industrial engineering. Affinity with one or more of the following business areas is appreciated: Finance, Real Estate, or Supply Chain Management
Ability to prioritize and manage concurrent projects well
Enjoys analytical projects / work
Demonstrates ability to effectively multitask
Strong communication skills
Must be well organized and highly attentive to detail
