Zoom is seeking a highly motivated, extremely organized intern with attention to detail. Experience in program and project management is a plus. Project driven to meet deadlines. 

What is Zoomtopia?:

Zoomtopia is Zoom's annual user conference designed to celebrate our users from around the world and all those who share interest in the future of frictionless communications. Throughout the two day conference, we release Zoom’s vision of the future, latest product announcements, facilitate attendees to connect with like-minded peers from across the globe, discover solutions from our expansive partner ecosystem, uplevel their skills with specialized learning tracks, and be inspired by world-renowned speakers.


Our Global Emerging Talent Intern Program offers additional support through dedicated mentorship, technical trainings, a leadership speaker series and team specific events. This paid internship is for a duration of 12 weeks during the summer of 2022 and will require the intern to be available through the end of Sept. The program offers cutting edge projects, as well as a mix of additional types of learning in areas of leadership and business acumen-- and is packed full of fun! 

What you will do:

  • Assist with managing the day to day of the Zoomtopia team deadlines, and communicating deadlines to stakeholders

  • Responsible for but not limited to process and project management

  • Compile and organize meeting notes, following up with various teams on action items and follow up on next steps, timeline

  • Assist team organization with appropriate cross departmental communications

  • Coordination of rehearsal scheduling and other pre-event week activities and technical training support

  • Speaker deliverable tracking (NDAs, speaker agreements, headshots, bios, etc.)

  • Coordinate with content lead in obtaining session titles, abstracts, agendas

  • Support fielding questions/support on event channels (email and chat) for Zoomtopia

  • Assist with Session scheduling and build for on-site and virtual programming as defined by Content Lead

  • Assist with On-site- session room allocation and agenda management, and assist with room set-up ensuring rooms are set up per planned requirements

  • Assist with session enrollment and room capacity planning

  • Assist with pre-planning for on-site and virtual operations and logistics: Food and Beverage support, signage support etc…

  • Assist in uploading content, speaker bios etc.. on Zoom Events platform

  • Assist with managing timelines and updating stakeholders

  • Assist with sponsor fulfillment: collecting logos, bios, session abstracts

  • Assist with registration support / management

Requirements:

  • Must be pursuing a BA/BS or graduate degree

  • Must be able to work through the end of September 2022

  • Must be able to attend Zoomtopia in person - San Jose Convention Center

  • Proficient in Google sheets, slides, docs, calendar and email

  • Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize workload

  • Strong communication skills to collaborate cross functionally

  • Strong project coordinating 

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

  • Ability to balance multiple projects with firm deadlines
