Zoomies help the world connect — and deliver happiness while doing it. We set out to build the best video conferencing product for the enterprise, and today help people communicate better with products like Zoom Phone, Zoom Rooms, Zoom Video Webinars, Zoom Apps, and OnZoom.

We’re problem-solvers and self-starters, working at a fast pace to design solutions with our customers and users in mind. Here, you’ll work across teams to dig deep into impactful projects that are changing the way people communicate, and enjoy opportunities to advance your career in a diverse, inclusive environment.

Come work alongside one of the most progessive organizational development teams in the hottest company and contribute to our rapid growth! We are looking for the most talented, creative, insightful, hands-on, action-oriented intern to join our special department for the summer. The professionals on our team have the most diverse backgrounds from social work, neuroscience and teaching, to name a few, so learning among us and with us will be a treasure.  As an Organizational Development Intern at Zoom, together we will find solutions to some of the complex problems companies experience while scaling.

The qualified candidate will be a self-starter who is meticulously organized and able to coordinate and track information for multiple projects at a time. This is a dynamic position that requires critical thinking, flexibility, and the ability to shift priorities frequently while maintaining attention to detail and achieving high-quality standards.

Your Responsibilities will include:

  • Learning about the Organizational Development programs, resources and initiatives, as well as help create a roadmap for the rest of 2021. Partner closely with these team members, as well as stakeholders across the business to get a strong understanding of where Zoom is at, where it’s headed, and how we can effectively engage and grow our talented people!

  • Partnering closely with our fast-paced business and talented leaders to conduct needs analyses within the business for an enterprise-wide project. You’ll leverage coaching and question asking to ensure we truly understand what problem we are solving for, and therefore what content, tools or resources you can use your creativity to build.

  • Researching impactful and innovative content to then build learning and development courses for our highly engaged and eager to learn Zoomies.

  • Creating a fun, catchy and unique marketing campaign for your course content that also aligns with our other programs and initiatives (which you will get to learn about in depth and even provide your insights and feedback on)!

  • Facilitating the content you have created by the end of your internship.

  • Support a specific business initiative that’s catered to a given function, its leaders, and/or its teams. This could again entail a needs analysis, collaborating with stakeholders in the business to determine the best way to solve for the problem at hand and then building the solution for them to then facilitate.

Qualifications:

  • Applicants must be currently enrolled in a program through an accredited University working towards a graduate degree in business administration, human resources, organizational development, organizational psychology, or a similar degree in a related field. Prior internship or work experience strongly preferred

  • Organized, resourceful problem-solver, reliable team player, a nimble learner, and demonstrated high attention to detail and follow-through to project completion.

  • Superb interpersonal communication skills

  • Values differences and willing to hear all perspectives in a collaborative way

  • Some level of comfortability and experience with presentations or group facilitation.

  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • A passion for Zoom’s mission, vision, values, and culture

  • Willingness and adequate means of completing internship fully remotely for 2021
