The Project Engineer will define project scope, evaluate products and testing programs, coordinate laboratory activities, and report results. They will also provide technical support to clients, participate in UL standards development, and mentor junior engineers.

- Definir el alcance, cronograma y requisitos de cada proyecto de forma autónoma.
- Evaluar productos y establecer programas de prueba conforme a estándares UL.
- Ser el punto de contacto técnico con clientes: explicar servicios, resolver dudas, negociar tiempos y costos.
- Viajar ocasionalmente para realizar pruebas en sitio o presenciar evaluaciones.
- Coordinar actividades de laboratorio y administrativas.
- Preparar reportes técnicos, procedimientos de seguimiento y comunicar resultados.
- Proponer nuevos métodos de prueba y mejoras en procesos.
- Participar en el desarrollo de estándares UL.
- Capacitar y guiar a ingenieros junior y personal técnico.
- Representar a UL en ferias, seminarios y eventos de la industria.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Título universitario en Ingeniería Mecánica, Eléctrica o Electrónica
- Mínimo 3 años de experiencia técnica relacionada.
- Conocimiento de estándares UL y NOM.
- Habilidad para comunicarse efectivamente con equipos técnicos y comerciales.
- Inglés avanzado
- Experiencia en electrodomésticos o sistemas HVAC es deseable, pero no indispensable.
