VP of of Human Resources
Brandfolder is seeking a Vice President of Human Resources to join our fast-paced team. This position will report directly to the CEO and lead the Human Resources department at Brandfolder. You will build the team who inspires the most recognizable brands in the world, like TripAdvisor and Slack, by providing tools and strategic insights that increase their brand engagement. You’ll have the ability to immediately impact decision-making in a high-growth company. WHAT YOU’LL DO
Build and retain a world class team in a high-growth environment
Partner with Brandfolder leadership to create and communicate HR initiatives, serving as the primary HR advisor to the team
Asses the human resources needs and create solutions in multiple areas such as talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, and compensation
Provides advice and counsel managers on company policies, employment laws, and employee relation issues while maintaining compliance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements
Lead the Human Resources department, managing current and future staff, creating team KPIs, evaluating performance, and more
Manage the HR quarterly budget, evaluating new HR systems and vendors as needed
Partner with other department leaders on company wide initiatives
Edit (or create) internal policies and documents such as Employee Handbook, Company Code of Conduct, Offer Letter templates, Employee Performance Reviews, etc.
Manage HR documentation and employee files, ensuring all necessary records are up-to-date and stored correctly
Assist managers in employee onboarding and offboarding
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
8+ years of relevant professional HR experience, a minimum of 3 years managing an HR department
Professional work experience in technology startup required
PHR, SPHR or similar certification
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or other related field
Demonstrated competence in various HR functions, including talent acquisition and development, employee relations, and performance evaluation
Ability to comfortably move between strategic issues and day-to-day HR operations
Knowledge of employment laws, standards, and compliance
Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts to internal team members
Proven track record of developing and implementing a KPI-driven culture
Strong leadership skills marked by ability to motivate team members at all levels
