DispatchHealth seeks a Vice President of Employee Experience to lead initiatives that drive employee satisfaction and success, increase retention, build a dynamic and engaged culture aligned with DispatchHealth’s mission and strategic goals and empower employees to shape the future of the company. This position works closely with leaders across the company, supports the employer brand and serves as a crucial strategist for the People Services team. This position will be supported by regional employee relations staff and a centralized team member. The Vp, Employee Experience must bring excellent people management and project management skills, approach challenges with creativity and an understanding of engagement best practices and be adept at utilizing data to drive results. This person must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment with quickly evolving deadlines. This position reports to the Senior Vice President of People Services and will work closely with the employee relations and performance management teams in People Services, and with recruiting, communications, training, marketing and clinical and operations leaders.  

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with executive leadership to deliver on the organization’s long-term mission and goals; identifies ways to support this mission through talent management. 
  • Oversees the daily workflow of the department. 
  • Ensures that employee relations and termination activities are compliant and in accordance with company policy. 
  • Identifies key performance indicators for the organization's human resource and talent management functions; assesses the organization's success and market competitiveness based on these metrics. 
  • Provides guidance and leadership to the People Services team; assists with resolution of human resource questions, concerns, and issues. 
  • Ensures compliance with employment, benefits, insurance, safety, and other laws, regulations, and requirements. 
  • Maintains knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices in employment law, human resources, and talent management. 
  • Supports the SVP/CPO of People services with creating and managing the budget for the department. 
  • Participates in professional development and networking conferences and events. 
  • Performs other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications:

  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills 
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills 
  • Strong and collaborative work ethic, working effectively both independently and as part of a larger project team 
  • Self-motivated with the ability to network across the organization 
  • 10+ years of experience in a Human Resources management role, preferably in a fast-paced startup or growth environment 
  • Experience with strategic, talent management, and/or business development is highly preferred 
  • Bachelor’s Degree required 
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP strongly preferred
