University Recruiting Manager, Global Emerging Talent
As we build a brand-new function within Zoom around University and student engagement programs, we are seeking a University Recruiting Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for the management of our newly built recruitment function, while managing a team of full life cycle recruiters in North America. In doing so, you will play many roles: builder, influencer, doer, educator, mentor, recruiter, and analyst.
Alongside Zoom’s Global Emerging Talent Program Leader, you will help to build a world-class University recruiting function at Zoom; which will require a steadfast work ethic.
Role Responsibilities:
Program Planning & Strategy
Leverage prior experience to bring industry best practices to Zoom, ensuring they can efficiently scale to meet the unique and exciting growth here at Zoom
Leverage your prior experience in building and scaling University recruiting programs. Serve as a subject matter expert in order to continue to build strong recruiting best practices
Partner with various leaders across the organization to develop and execute talent strategies and effectively allocate recruiter capacity
Work with hiring managers and interview teams to create exceptional and structured interview experiences in order to bring the best and brightest to Zoom
Manage a team of University recruiters and set goals which align to our broader strategy; all the while driving success across new grad and intern hiring targets and goals
Plan and attend campus events to build relationships with students that are virtual or live once possible. Includes leveraging creative ways to engage with students through coordinating speakers from the business, interview volunteers, giveaways and other various ways
Identify and manage external partnerships with diversity-related organizations
Advocate for change, and streamline internal processes, tools, and systems that are needed to scale and support the recruiting team
Utilize analytics to leverage data and metrics by standardizing reporting for visibility to all aspects of the program to include ROI and overall effectiveness
Generate and produce timely reporting of key metrics and insights to drive decisions and improve processes
Partner and influence hiring managers to ensure our new grads and interns are working on cutting-edge work and are provided accelerated experiences
Stakeholder Management
Develop content and manage the roll-out of stakeholder education, on-campus campaigns, social media plans, etc. to help boost specialized programming efforts
Partner and strategize with Zoom’s Talent Engagement and Brand team to create and design campaigns for talent branding; and to promote our hiring and events
Build strategic plans around programs and results; then present to leadership teams and other key stakeholders across business functions. Must be comfortable with leadership level audiences and presentations
Foster strong partnerships across all levels of the organization. Collaborate with key stakeholders in Talent Acquisition, DEI, Employee Resource Groups, and business functions
Desired Qualifications:
10+ years of professional work experience in Talent Acquisition or related HR field, including a minimum of 4 years leading graduate and other student engagement programs
BA or BS degree or graduate degree in business administration, human resources, organizational development, organizational psychology, or a similar degree in a related field
Passion for University recruiting and programming, with a passion to still own full lifecycle recruiting
Passion for Zoom’s mission, vision, values, and culture
Organized, results driven, resourceful problem-solver, reliable team player, a nimble learner, and demonstrated high attention to detail and follow-through to project completion
Well versed in University Recruiting with intimate knowledge of what University programs need in order to succeed and thrive
Possesses the ability to thrive in a constantly evolving organization and operate independently
You are proactive in identifying and taking on new projects.
