Why this role 

As part of our People team, the Manager of Total Rewards will oversee all projects and operations for compensation and benefits at Evolve. Your focus will be on offering a positive Evolver Experience through the lens of total rewards. You will ensure Evolve’s compliance with all compensation and benefits programs, including government filings, financial controls and federal and state time off regulations. You will lead the communications strategy and execution for ongoing program and wellness offerings, and lead the annual Open Enrollment process. What you’ll do 

  • Ensure compliance with ever-changing state time off regulations and update total rewards policies as necessary
  • Collaborate and work closely with People Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and leaders to make compensation recommendations for promotions, transfers, new hires, and assisting with job description content.
  • Work on key compensation projects, including building and maintaining Evolve’s compensation framework and streamlining the annual merit and bonus process
  • Create and oversee Evolve’s wellness program, including project management, execution and aligning to Evolve’s wellness strategy
  • Oversee submittals of monthly commission and bonus variable pay programs to ensure accuracy to plan
  • Assist the Director of Total Rewards with annual plan renewals and executing new benefit and compensation plans
  • Ensure Evolve’s compliance with all government filing and audits, including the annual 401(k) audit, ACA filings, non-discrimination testings, 5500s, fair pay audits, etc.
  • Execute the communication strategy for all total rewards programs to keep Evolvers educated and excited about their total rewards offerings
  • Responsible for leading a successful Open Enrollment process annually, including system setups, Evolver communications, vendor management, fairs, and accuracy of enrollments
  • Create and oversee all total rewards analytics, including data upkeep in PayScale, BI/reporting data to senior leaders, and oversight of Evolve’s HRIS
  • Oversee and assist with leave of absence processes, including ADA management

What makes you a great fit

  • 5+ years of broad-based benefit and compensation program administration and execution
  • Strong project management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • In-depth knowledge of all health and welfare benefits and associated processes, procedures, and regulations
  • In-depth knowledge of compensation market pricing, job slotting, structure knowledge, and processing promotions and new hire compensation recommendations
  • Strong communication skills with a focus on consistent and timely follow-up and follow-through with business stakeholders
  • An unparalleled sense of urgency and commitment to getting stuff done without sacrificing quality or experience
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and can manage multiple competing priorities while continuing to advance critical initiatives
  • Self-assured and have a high tolerance for ambiguity and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • An ability to gain trust through effective communication and doing what you say you will do
  • A reputation for discretion, integrity, judgment, responsiveness, strong attention to detail and common sense
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to deliver insights

Preferred but not required 

  • PHR, SHRM-CP or CCP
  • Travel industry experience is a plus
  • Working knowledge of front-end web languages and/or CMS a plus

Location 

While we are all currently working from home until at least July, our goal is to eventually return to our beautiful Denver office and collaborate in person.

For this role our salary range is $85k - $100k

Our office is located in Downtown Denver surrounded by the best the city has to offer. With our flexible remote work policy, our teammates are free to work in person in our Colorado space or remotely from home in 48 approved states.
