Time and Attendance System Analyst
Job Description:
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Responsible for time and attendance maintenance, configuration, reporting, troubleshooting, and overall data analysis.
- Main point of contact for Ultipro UTA system, including direct interface with vendor as well as internal escalations.
- Downloading data from time and attendance system to send to Payroll Operations for processing.
- Frequent and ongoing partnership with Payroll Operations to ensure consistency in schedules and on time transactions.
- Running and validating appropriate audit reports to ensure time file accuracy.
- Manage technical data integrations in and out of the time and attendance system.
- Proactively log/review product defects and product enhancements with vendor.
- Provide best practice solutions based on defined business needs.
- Administer system training and learn all aspects of system functionality.
- Review and test new functionality and product releases.
- Ensure documentation and procedures are updated regularly (SOP).
- Other duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For:
- 2–3 years of related payroll time and attendance experience
- Direct Experience working with HR/Payroll and Time & Attendance solutions: UltiPro UTA Time & Attendance or related products: Workday, Ceridian-Dayforce, SumTotal, ADP/eTime, Kronos, Oracle/PeopleSoft, SABA, SAP/SuccessFactors and/or others (Ultimate Software highly preferred)
- Experience working in a large fast-paced company with USA (multi-state) and Canadian (including Quebec) workforce
- Demonstrated ability to creatively solve problems by appropriately using of technology
- A driven “make it happen” attitude
- Ability to navigate through resistance to change during an implementation of new technology
- Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp business scenarios and understand the technology implications of the scenario
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent organization and documentation skills
- Team focused individual with demonstrated ability to engage multiple partners/customers simultaneously
- Excellent Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Even Better If You Have:
- Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) credentials preferred
- Demonstrated aptitude for using software and online systems to accomplish complex tasks
- Good understanding of databases
- 4 year degree
