POSITION SUMMARY:         

As Talent Manager, you will play a key role in building organizational capability and creating great careers at Boa. You will be a core part of the global HR team, leading our approach to Talent Acquisition, facilitating training and workshops, and coordinating the Learning and development program.

 

You’ll know you are successful in this role when managers and employees understand their development/career paths, we reduce our time to fill for vacant roles, and we have a pool of qualified and promotable talent from which to choose as our organization grows.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Act as subject matter expert, consultant and coach to our managers in relation to Talent Acquisition, ensuring they have the tools and confidence to bring the best talent into the business.
  • Lead the relationship with our recruitment partners, ensuring we have access to the best talent in Greater Denver and beyond.
  • Evolve our approach to recruitment, developing frameworks and tools that streamline the recruitment process and ensure we find and select talent with the right skills, capability potential and culture fit.
  • Provide advice and support to Boa managers in relation to our Learning and Development program, ensuring that there is an ongoing focus on Employee and Team Development.
  • Coach and mentor employees in support of their personal and professional development.
  • Using Boa tools and frameworks, facilitate Team Effectiveness workshops, Training workshops, and Learning events.
  • Lead the Boa Mentoring program, ensuring that this is a visible and successful part of our L&D platform.
  • Coordinate HR Administration and logistics for our L&D calendar / program, Recruitment, Performance, and Talent processes
  • Work with the Associate Talent Manager on identifying trends and insights based on employee and talent data, making recommendations for new and existing HR interventions and initiatives.
  • Provide HR project coordination / support as needed, supporting our global HR strategy
  • Be an advocate and champion for Boa Values, looking for opportunities to bring them to life within the business, both locally and globally.
  • Support the evolution of our global HR approach, liaising with global HR team members about Recruitment and Development tools, for localization in different regions.
  • Looks for opportunities to strengthen our Employer Brand, building engagement with active and passive candidates, and strengthening our internal and external talent pool.

 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Previous experience facilitating training or workshops
  • Confident presenting to small groups of employees and / or frontline managers
  • Familiarity with different OD or L&D models and tools
  • Previous interviewing / recruitment experience, with familiarity of behavioral interview techniques
  • Organized, and has experience streamlining HR processes and practices
  • Previous experience in a creative / marketing / sales / retail environment
  • Holds or is working towards an HR qualification
  • Demonstrates a passion for continuous learning
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • High degree of integrity and the ability to maintain the strictest level of confidentiality 
  • Knowledgeable of federal, state and local employment laws 
  • Stellar interpersonal and relationship building skills
