POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our growing Human Resources team. This position is to be remote within the United States. This full-time position will be responsible for driving internal talent acquisition strategies through utilizing best-practice initiatives and tactics to source, identity, attract and hire talent into the organization’s local and international offices. This individual will report to our Talent Acquisition Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Facilitate recruitment process from posting job advertisements to various mediums to candidates’ start date at Velocity Global
  • Source, screen, select, interview and evaluate potential candidates to join Velocity Global’s dynamic team on a global scale
  • Maintain best practices in recruitment compliance and identify alternative recruitment methods to target, attract and maintain a  highly skilled and diversified applicant pool 
  • Ensures a positive candidate experience through the interview and pre-employment process by responding to and resolving questions that may arise 
  • Provide high touch customer service to all internal and external parties of Velocity Global 
  • Support and consult with internal business partners throughout the recruitment process
  • Ensure up-to-date recruitment metrics are maintained and communicated to key team members on an ongoing basis
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment and applicant files in the company’s applicant tracking system and shared folders 
  • Ad hoc recruitment projects and systems improvements as needed.

 QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • BA/BS in Business/other applicable degrees, or equivalent working experience required
  • 2+ years of experience in recruiting with ATS experience required. ClearCompany preferred. 
  • Business proficiency in the English language required
  • Critical thinking skills with ability to use good judgment and handle sensitive and confidential issues objectively
  • Maintain a strict level of confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion
  • Exceptional skills in timely follow-through & follow-up
  • Ability to collaborate and build rapport with all levels of the organization while driving initiative through individual research
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, listening and consultative skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, show adaptability and meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy with a strong attention to detail
  • Proven ability to operate tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environment; willingness to pitch in to help the team

The salary range is 50,000-60,000 USD with a performance-based discretionary bonus. The final salary will be commensurate with experience.
