The Talent Acquisition Specialist is the master of first impressions and never forgets that a great candidate experience conveys the strength of company brand and culture. You are known as a business partner who joins with hiring managers and outside talent resources to identify, hire, and onboard top talent. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
TALENT ACQUISITION (75%)
Manage complete candidate life-cycle (sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer, onboarding) for both regular hire and temporary-to-hire employees
Deliver proactive, timely communication to hiring managers and candidates at all times
Lead hiring manager intake meetings to establish hiring strategy for each position, guided by best practices in talent acquisition
Create an efficient, repeatable, documented talent acquisition cycle for StickerGiant; train all leaders and employees on cycle
Maintain weekly, monthly hiring metrics and report in People Team scorecard
Prepare and coach hiring managers, interview team, with interview tips and sample questions
Prepare candidates with appropriate information about job details, total comp, culture, and team
Conduct initial candidate screens; quickly assess talent and provide candidate selling points to hiring managers
Establish external business partnerships such as staffing agency partners, Workforce Boulder County, Front Range Community College, CareerWise Colorado and other organizations to increase talent pipelines
Spearhead hiring StickerGiant’s first interns and apprentices in 2020
Deliver a great onboarding and orientation day for new hires; coordinate with hiring manager and team on new hire first 30-60 day plan
Partner with Marketing team to re-design careers page with fresh content and value proposition
Manage recruiting tools such as ATS, job boards, employer branding sites and oversee a monthly recruiting budget
PEOPLE TEAM SUPPORT (25%)
Oversee employee anniversary program including annual calendar and recognition aspects
Handle offer cycle for internal promotions and transfers
Maintain accurate data in HRIS system (ADP TotalSource)
Other projects in support of the People Team may be required
EDUCATION AND FORMAL TRAINING
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Education, English or related degree
4+ years in recruiting, talent acquisition or related Human Resource function
Certification (Recruiting or HR) preferred, not required
Proven ability to execute a successful, efficient recruiting cycle
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY
Demonstrated knowledge of best practices and trends in talent acquisition; frequently gathers insights, new tools and new tricks from thought leaders and resources in talent acquisition
Depth of experience owning full life cycle recruiting process
Exemplary candidate and hiring manager communication; clear and professional written and verbal skills
Technology
Proficiency in Google Suite and/or MS Office products
Experience with any Applicant Tracking System (we use ADP TotalSource)
Experience recruiting with LinkedIn
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate at all levels of an organization, especially the influencing others
Curiosity or desire to grow in other functions of Human Resources
Experience negotiating job offers and leveraging total compensation picture with candidates
Balance competing priorities with ease
