Position Description:

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for supporting KPA’s growing sales team. This growth is the most strategic initiative at KPA, so this position is the key driver of identifying talent and bringing them into the organization.
In the first 30 days, you will:
- Meet colleagues and begin to understand the current KPA Talent Acquisition and Sales team structures and processes.
- Be able to articulate the value proposition of working at KPA to candidates while screening them for their ability to add to the KPA team with both their hand and soft skills.
- Begin to schedule interviews and screen candidates, providing a welcoming presence to candidates through the entire assessment process.
In the first 60-90 days, you will:
- Work with hiring managers to refine job requirements to effectively market KPA and their position to top tier talent.
- Partner with hiring managers to drive the recruiting process from sourcing to onboarding of team members.
- Use a variety of interviewing methods to screen for candidate performance in each role.
- Manage the experience of the candidate by communicating regularly with respect.
- Aid in the retention of engaged employees through the onboarding of employees and through activities meant to celebrate team members and business success.
In the first 6 months, you will:
- Leverage sourcing tools and networking to create a pipeline of candidates that will speed time to fill as new positions become available.
- Begin to create more efficient processes to source and evaluate candidates for performance.
- Refine and develop additional metrics and data to measure key activities of recruitment and retention.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to management on processes, benefits and policies that promote KPA as an employer of choice.
- Enhance KPA’s employment brand through proactively tracking and enhancing reviews of KPA as an employer.
By the end of the first year, you will have:
- Been driven by metrics to be proactive in recruitment and retention processes in support of business growth and employee engagement.
- Celebrated advancements to KPA’s brand as an employer of choice.
Success Criteria:
- 2+ years’ experience sourcing and closing Sales talent in a competitive labor market
- Metric-driven with experience using data to evaluate and improve talent acquisition efforts
- Proven passion for partnering with internal business stakeholders to understand their needs in order to identify the right talent
- High level understanding of SaaS and Cloud-based technologies
- Commitment to creating a positive candidate experience for all applicants, whether selected or not
- Strong attention to detail with ability to stay highly organized
- Ability to own the recruitment lifecycle and make recommendations for process improvements
- When not recruiting, possesses the skillset to provide HR support in all functional areas of HR affecting retention and engagement of employees, particularly onboarding and performance management
- Ability to work independently
- Technical proficiency with tools like Slack, DocuSign, Microsoft Office, etc.
- Experience managing candidates using an applicant tracking system
- Must be able to work with highly sensitive information and maintain confidentiality
- Bachelor’s degree and HR certifications are preferred

Compensation:
- Annual base salary range between $60-75k
- Bonus potential of 10% annually
KPA Office/Event Attendance and COVID-19 Vaccination Policy
Daily office attendance is currently optional for all employees. Each office will be open for those seeking the opportunity to return to the office. Team meetings and events will be held in both KPA Offices and outside of KPA Offices where employee attendance will be expected.
For all KPA office sites, events and meetings, any employee attending, even temporarily, must be fully vaccinated with at least fourteen (14) days following their final vaccine. The final vaccine is defined as a second dose for Pfizer or Moderna, or the first dose of Johnson and Johnson.
