Job Description

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manages an assigned team of personnel. This includes understanding skill types and proficiencies, coaching and career development, setting objectives, conducting performance reviews and performance management.
• Develops and maintains effective sourcing to maintain high visibility with potential labor markets.
• Reviews employment practices and procedures to ensure compliance with government regulations, as well as with company policy and objectives.
• Demonstrates business line knowledge by recommending recruitment and retention.
• Works with managers and executives to understand existing and future resource needs.
• Participates in business unit forecasting.
• Provides analysis, insights and recommendations to management regarding capacity and deployment to ensure better management of operating plans and recruiting decisions.
• Assists in creating reports and analysis in the areas of utilization, projected utilization and availability.
• Adjusts schedule for variances causes by new work and changing deadlines.
• Educates both hiring managers and candidates on hiring process.
• Other related duties assigned as needed.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
• Thorough working knowledge of HR practices and legal requirements affecting employment and other related specialist areas, particularly compliance
• Proven track record and expertise in managing full life cycle recruiting and selection process
• Strong written, communication and presentation skills to effectively represent the company and interact with inside and outside customers
• Ability to balance needs of applicants with the organizational needs
• Ability to sell the culture of the organization and present FIS as the employer of choice
• Experience in managing multiple client groups, including remote sites
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills as well as relationship building, conflict resolution and influencing skills
• High integrity and personal credibility; ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
• Advanced proficiency of MS Office products; ability to quickly adapt to new systems

FIS JOB LEVEL DESCRIPTION
Career level management role. Excellent knowledge of the field with strong leadership skills. Responsible for managing staffing activities through individual contribution and/or leading subordinates to ensure achievement of annual objectives. Establishes operational objectives and work plans. Works on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives. Resolves issues and contributes to business unit/area development. Requires ability to change the thinking of, or gain acceptance from, others in sensitive situations without damaging the relationship. May have authority for hire, fire, performance appraisal and pay review decisions. Has wide latitude for decision-making. Requires extensive skill and proficiency. Works independently with only administrative supervision on highly complex projects with extensive latitude for independent judgment. Effectively communicates with all levels of technical and non-technical personnel. Ability to provide communication on issues or complex information to a wide audience based on knowledge. Participates in strategic planning and direction. Develops, documents and implements standards, guidelines, direction and education on process/procedures for staff. Typically requires a minimum of five years of experience in staffing or related discipline.
