Department Summary
The Talent Acquisition team is integral to our success as we supply the fuel for our continued growth and award winning innovation. This role reports to the VP of Talent Acquisition, and is responsible for building and leading an expert team focused on building the talent pipeline programs for the recruitment delivery teams across all talent segments, such as college and early career hiring programs, diversity hiring programs, referral programs, internal hiring, strategic sourcing, and all talent attraction, recruitment marketing and employment branding. We are looking for a strategic Leader of Talent Acquisition who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can roll up their sleeves, work hard, partner well with others, have fun, and get the job done.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Build, lead, and direct the talent acquisition strategy and hiring across key talent segments to build the pipeline and channels for the following areas: university and early career talent, internship programs, apprenticeship programs, and drive vocational and community college hiring.
  • Build innovative programs to attract candidates through a variety of channels such as veterans, diverse segments and internal mobility.
  • Develop and lead the strategic sourcing function across talent acquisition, to pro-actively pipeline talent for key roles.
  • Partner with senior talent acquisition and business leaders across the organization to define and develop targeted talent strategies and programs, leveraging the talent channels programs and talent segments.
  • Lead the recruitment marketing and employment branding team to increase awareness of DISH as an employer of choice, drive innovation in social/digital media for talent attraction, and expand our reach to drive candidate applications through to measuring quality and effectiveness of hires from our various sources.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and external organizations to create sustainable partnerships that produce consistent results to build a predictable funnel of talent as a feeder pool for multiple lines of business.
  • Lead, develop and coach the staff through mentoring and learning experiences to successfully achieve all SLAs (time to fill, quality of hire, conversion rates, etc.).
  • Analyze recruiting metrics to share reports and recommendations with all stakeholders and executive leadership for the talent channel programs.
  • Ensure effective use of talent acquisition tools, resources and campaigns to source and attract top talent.
  • Identification, management and alignment of the proper candidate experience.
  • Manage and develop special projects as a member of the Talent Acquisition Leadership Team to innovate and continuously improve our process.
  • Serve as a key member of the Talent Acquisition leadership team, which is responsible for executing enterprise-wide initiatives that are vital to the success of the business to include identifying and contract negotiations with outside partners.


Skills, Experience and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 7-10+ years of progressive talent acquisition experience with a large-scale and/or multi-site company.
  • 3-5 years of managing and developing recruiting teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive and communicate change through senior leaders and track record of developing engaged, high performance teams.
  • Experience improving recruiting processes to improve overall efficiency and candidate experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities at one time, and able to lead teams through high-pressure and high-demands from business leaders.
  • Project and program management experience, leading continuous improvement, engagement and change management of programs,
  • High level of expertise with Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Prior and demonstrated experience building and managing Talent Acquisition hiring programs.
  • Experience driving innovative recruitment marketing campaigns to support organic and paid campaigns across an omnichannel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to influence and negotiate effective business solutions.
  • Proven ability to build partnerships across all levels of an organization.
  • Strong work ethic and sense of urgency, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.

Compensation: $99,900.00/Year - $177,000.00/Year
