Strategic Sourcing Lead - Facilities/Property Management
The Strategic Sourcing Lead at Workiva will partner with cross functional teams globally and ensure best terms and conditions are executed with local considerations and strategy. The focus of this role will be Facilities/Property Management. In addition to the real estate contract negotiations, this role will also manage other general facilities operations and logistics contracts for each office and area.
The procurement team is responsible for strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, data & analytics, outsourcing review, and contract management across Workiva.
The Strategic Sourcing Lead position is responsible for supporting technology and other business needs by working with existing suppliers to renew or improve current contracts and conducting RFx for existing or new spend initiatives. This role requires strong communication skills, time management, along with proven attention to detail.
What You'll Do
Negotiate with vendors to obtain optimal cost, quality, and other value add offerings
Execute and manage RF(x) processes for assigned commodities/programs
Drive strategic sourcing activities to mitigate risk and provide maximum financial value to the business
Monitor and negotiate contract renewals and supplier performance proactively
Evaluate vendor offerings, identifies opportunities, and provides recommendations that support the business' strategic plans
Analyze commodity spend and evaluate existing supplier base to consolidate spend with preferred suppliers
Lead and support sourcing requirements with various functional teams to achieve short and long term goals
Initiate new qualified supplier sources for products and services by conducting research on supply base market and latest industry trends
What You'll Need
Education
Undergraduate Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field.
Experience:
3 years of procurement experience and demonstrated understanding of technology and other high risk contracts
Experience in end-to-end procure to pay and contract lifecycle management processes
Strategic sourcing expertise in IT, Marketing, HR, Finance, and Facilities
Experience working with cross functional teams across the organization
Experience with international procurement is a plus
Skills:
Must possess a high level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to build relationships and collaborate across teams and with vendors
Exercise sound judgement and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses
Ability to negotiate using various tactics to solve impasses
Proficiency in using an eProcurement platform preferred
Travel Requirements
Up to 10%
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:
Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely, not in a Workiva office.
How You'll Be Rewarded
Base Pay Range in Colorado: $77,000 - $94,000
A discretionary bonus typically paid annually
Restricted Stock Units granted at time of hire
The base pay range represents the low and high end of the hiring range for this job. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to relevant skills, experience, and capabilities.
