  • Act as a recruiting partner; this includes sourcing candidates, partnering with DE&I orgs/platforms, having a presence in various networking & recruitment channels, and fielding inbound applications. Review Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to identify past contacts for open jobs, while also helping to asses & track applicants for future opportunities, and responding to applicants to advance in the process or keep in touch for future roles

  • Act with a sense of professionalism, kindness, empathy, speed, and proactive communication

Ideal background you bring to the table:

  • Seniority: Mid to Senior
  • Proven recruiting/talent acquisition experience, with at least 2 years as a technical recruiter
  • Proven work experience as an in-house recruiter with high volume of roles to staff strongly preferred
  • Proven work experience in a staffing agency/consulting firm strongly preferred

  • Experience coordinating group tasks in a diverse professional setting
  • Strong organizational skills
  • A working mantra of being effective, efficient, and continuously improving

This is as much of an independent, self-starter role as it is a team collaboration role; interested applicants should enjoy a mix of both. People with good energy, grit, and a desire to scale teams are encouraged to apply. An Insider's view of Kin + Carta

What's something quirky about your company?

During my career, I have never worked for a company that truly accepts you for who you are, has such great PTO, and an amazing incentive program. Kin + Carta just gets it!

Ebony

Talent Acquisition Specialist

What projects are you most excited about?

I get excited for about 90% of my projects. They are either an interesting design challenge, or an opportunity to work in a cool industry. We have built up a design reputation to the point where we rarely have an easy one-off project.

Alex

Product Owner

How has your career grown since starting at the company?

I joined six years ago as a BDR. When I showed an interest in learning product, I was met with support by the executive team. I never knew I could be surrounded by so many people who supported me and were rooting for me, and continuing to root for me to this day.

Mikaela

Director of Product

How do your team's ideas influence the company's direction?

We’ve been in growth-mode a few years. While we've scaled, we’ve been disciplined about our structure in order to maintain a low-power-distance culture. From entry level to CEO, everyone’s roles are interdependent so their responsibilities are equally important. We know that insight and inspiration will come from every corner of the company.

Mark

Senior Managing Director
