Senior Total Rewards Analyst at pax8
Essential Responsibilities (includes, but is not limited to):
- Analyzes market benchmarks to assess our competitive market position; participates in annual salary surveys and updates existing benchmarks annually with new data
- Collaborates with leaders to create new job descriptions; edits and audits existing job descriptions for content; ensures all roles are classified correctly and paid in accordance with applicable regulations surrounding wage and hour laws
- Consults with leaders to ensure equitable pay decisions are being made; provides appropriate guidance and advice on compensation-related issues; ensures that requests for pay adjustments comply with company policies
- Administers non-commissioned annual bonus plan (e.g., forecasts annual cost, calculates year-end payout, develops communications for leaders); presents to CFO, CHRO, and Total Rewards Director frequently
- Evaluates benefit renewal costs and creates premium cost sharing model; presents results to People Org leadership; analyzes enrollments vs modelled projections and resulting costs after Open Enrollment
- Ensures Sales Compensation Plans are kept current and distributed to all sales representatives; works with Sales leadership to modify when necessary
Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:
- Five (5) to seven (7) years’ compensation experience
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Excellent Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, arrays, etc.)
- Ability to model large sets of data dynamically so that changes can be captured in real-time
- Ability to present to senior leaders effectively and use data to tell a story
- Ability to take on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm
- Ability to build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives
- Ability to develop and deliver multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences
- Ability to make sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems
- Ability to use compelling arguments to gain support and commitment of others
Required Education & Certifications:
- B.A./B.S. in related field or equivalent work experience
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) (or progress towards CCP) preferred
Compensation
- Qualified candidates can expect a salary beginning at $87,000 or more depending on experience
