As a Senior Technical Recruiter, you will attract and hire highly complex engineering talent at all levels from IC to Leadership. Scaling recruiting processes while focusing on talent density within our Product and Engineering teams is your top priority. You will do this by driving sourcing and recruiting strategy, partnering with Engineering and Product leadership as a trusted subject matter expert. You will be a trusted partner to our Director of Talent and will work across the Talent and Tech Leadership Team as we scale to 450+ team members by the end of 2022.
How You'll Do It
Manage full cycle recruiting process

    • Develop strategies to identify, attract and engage with the best talent with a focus on passive candidate outreach and innovative sourcing strategies.
    • Manage candidate flow through our ATS, Lever or Greenhouse.
    • Collaborate with the People Partner to determine best offer.
    • Leverage deep understanding of the Engineering and Product talent market.


Candidate Management

    • Provide all Pie prospects and candidates with a world class experience.
    • Understand the candidate's needs to present a market competitive offer with candidate expectations in mind.


Client Management

    • Partner with hiring teams to understand their organizational objectives and drive hiring plans to achieve them.
    • Work with hiring leaders and the Engineering Recruiting Manager to create and distribute across our job posting platforms and social media.
    • Coach hiring managers and guide them throughout the recruiting process.
    • Be the subject matter expert and resource for hiring partners.
    • Develop strong relationships and partnerships with client groups.
    • Manage the kick-off, interview panel, and debrief session.


Team Contributions

    • Actively participates in team member training including recruiting process review and training, systems and tools training, organization and department overviews and knowledge sharing.
    • Regularly develops and drives process improvements that improve team and function efficiency.


Project Work

    • Supports talent brand, external events and project work that continues to develop and enhance Pie's talent brand.
    • Participate. project manage, assist in tool implementations.


The Right Stuff

    • 7 years of experience with full lifecycle technical recruiting ideally at a startup or SaaS company is preferred, 3 years required
    • 2 years of experience recruiting internally for a high growth tech company is required
    • An associate degree, a trade of technical school diploma, or a bachelor's degree is preferred
    • Experience with an ATS is required, preferably with Lever or Greenhouse
    • Experience with common sourcing tools, like LinkedIn Recruiter, is required
    • Ability to manage and navigate complex recruiting situations with stakeholders and candidates is required
    • Demonstrated ability to articulate the employee value proposition to candidate and write a compelling pitch email to prospective candidates is required
    • Strong technical acumen around technology, software development languages and tools is required

We value and want to support our team members, and are proud to offer a comprehensive compensation package which includes the following:
Compensation Range for position: $128,000 - $162,000
Each year Pie reviews company performance and may grant discretionary bonuses to eligible team members.

This role has the option to be hybrid or remote. Hybrid work locations provide team members with the flexibility of working partially from our Denver or DC office and from home. Remote team members must live and work in the United States*, and have access to reliable, high-speed internet.
