Freshworks is a rapidly expanding SaaS company, and we are looking for an exceptional recruiting leader who will bring a combination of experience, knowledge, and creativity to support our explosive growth by building and leading our Talent Acquisition Team in North America.
What You’ll Do
Talent Team Manager
Report directly to the Sr. Director, Human Resources for North America.
Build, lead, inspire, and develop a talent acquisition function for North America focused on candidate experience, excellence in service, and finding top talent.
Ensure that the North America Talent Acquisition team is positioned for success and closely aligned with the vision and goals of Freshworks leadership.
Offer coaching, insight, and decision support to talent sourcing team by leveraging analytics and industry intelligence.
Serve as the recruiting leader and thought partner to senior business leaders and HR Business Partners; inform business leaders on key talent issues, and propose creative ideas for identifying and attracting top talent in a competitive market.
Talent Partnering
Manage responsibility for all North America-based roles, primarily focused on sales and go-to-market functions, but also including G&A, Product, and Marketing.
Partner and consult with the Freshworks senior leaders on all aspects of competitive talent acquisition and strategy
Nurture creative sourcing strategies to identify and attract diverse “passive” talent
Partner with business leaders on sourcing, hiring, and workforce planning strategies, including designing innovative assessment tools to effectively evaluate prospective candidates
Provide valuable market insights to Freshworks’ global TA function Act as a consultant to the senior and executive teams to thoroughly understand the talent needed to successfully deliver against the organization’s vision and long-term goals
Systems & Technology
In partnership with IT, ensure Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and HRIS tools are configured to ensure effective sourcing, recruitment, and candidate management processes
Partner with Procurement, Global Mobility, HR Operations, and IT to create a consistent onboarding process
Hiring Initiatives
Development, planning, and execution of talent acquisition strategies for the go-to-market and sales functions, inclusive of diversity recruitment, talent forecasting and pipelining, resource and relationship management
Build and maintain vendor relationships with 3rd party recruiters and strategic recruiting technology vendors
In partnership with marketing, build an effective employer brand strategy
Personally own and drive executive recruiting for key leadership positions in the North America region
Your Qualifications
12 years of work experience in roles increasing in scope and complexity, including:
5+ years in Talent Acquisition Management or HR Leadership role
3+ years of experience creating and implementing talent acquisition strategies for SaaS sales in a high growth tech environment and leading a high-performing Talent Acquisition team
Proven ability to lead strategic sourcing efforts and work with a team to develop and deploy creative techniques to identify and attract exceptional, diverse candidates at all levels
Experience with goal setting, career development, and performance management
Track record of maintaining solid relationships with Business Leaders and partners across Human Resources
Experience creating and managing decision-oriented data relative to sales recruiting
Exceptional presentation and communication skills
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
