As a Senior HRBP, you will partner with and support the business to help create a fulfilling employee experience while meeting business goals. You will work with teams across the organization to create rigor, share ideas, and build systems that support the employee lifecycle. You will be a partner to employees on multiple teams and at varying career levels and act as both an employee and company advocate.

You will love this role if you like variety, partnering with people across the company and helping them to connect the dots. You’ll help to create and execute on programs including manager trainings, career development, performance management, and cross-collaboration promotion. You’ll coach managers and employees, helping them to problem solve and create mutually beneficial relationships. You’ll have an incredible amount of input as we iterate on the next version of our programs and systems that shape the employee lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with employees at all levels and across teams on people related activities
  • Create/execute programs to engage, develop, and manage employees that are inline with business goals (including compensation planning, feedback cadences, learning and development, etc.)
  • Coach/advise managers on people related concerns and needs, including development and employee relations matters
  • Coach/advise employees through aspects of the employee lifecycle, including general questions, LOAs, concerns, etc.
  • Partner with the greater People Ops team on people related matters to create a cohesive, fulfilling employee experience

  • Think about things holistically and feel strongly about consistency
  • Value responsibility and are team focused
  • Are extremely organized and accountable
  • Have at least 5 years experience as a HRBP/People Partner
  • Are well versed in CA and SF employment law
  • Have a passion for Alto’s mission and values!

It’s a plus if you:

  • Have worked in both Tech and Healthcare/Pharma companies
  • Have experience with BambooHR and ADP
  • Have experience focused on Diversity/Inclusion programs
  • Thrive on variety
