About The Role

 

Nylas is building the People team and looking for a Recruiter to help us source, manage and hire a talented and diverse pipeline of non-tech candidates. Reporting to the Head of People, this role work closely with all levels in the organization; delivering quality hires, in a volume that matches the speed of our growth, while at the same time optimizing the experience for candidates and managers. The ideal candidate exudes gumption; loves ambiguity; challenges the status quo; and sees themselves as a builder.

 

What You Will Do

  • Source, evaluate and close talent for Finance, Marketing, Customer Success, and Sales.
  • Act as a champion for top-notch candidate experience by setting expectations, communicating timely updates, and providing actionable feedback.
  • Track and analyze metrics and create weekly reports on hiring progress to business leadership on a regular cadence.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers and leaders to hire top talent across multiple teams, ranging from individual contributors to managers and directors.
  • Ability to effectively pitch company narratives and craft persuasive outreach campaigns.
  • Own a debrief process post interview to align hiring teams on hiring decisions.
  • Navigate candidates and managers through a complex compensation program that includes understanding equity value & mechanics in a high growth environment.
  • Communicate effectively with the interview team to optimize the experience of the manager & interview team.

What You Should Have

  • 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in a high speed, high growth, technology-based environment. Proven experience in full-lifecycle hiring: sourcing, interviewing, closing.
  • Comfortable as a hands-on manager and willing to roll up your sleeves to get things done.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with passive sourcing platforms (LinkedIn, Entelo, AngelList), active candidate marketplaces (Hired, A-List), and applicant tracking systems (Greenhouse, Lever).
  • Experience in implementing DE&I Strategies into sourcing and recruitment processes to ensure we are building a diverse, inclusive workforce.
  • Scrappy persona and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Ability to think on your feet, but with enough humility to ask questions
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills while exercising sound judgement.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth, often ambiguous environment.
  • Outstanding interpersonal communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and build relationships at all levels of the organization.
