As the NHT Recruiter, you will own the full recruiting cycle and will be tasked with scaling our teams with the highest quality employees, who not only offer unique skills and experience but also a strong addition to our company culture. You will develop our new and improved recruiting strategy, using competitive and proven techniques to source, identify, and qualify candidates. Reporting Director of Human Resources, you will be a part of a team that fosters a collaborative environment and strong partnership with our hiring managers. It's not just about making hires - we aim to improve the experience for everyone involved and find new ways to deliver greater impact. There is a lot of room for ownership and professional growth, as you will be a part of a rapidly growing, venture-backed team.

Here’s what you can expect to spend most of your time doing:

  1. Design and implement an overall recruiting strategy alongside NHT leadership.
  2. Drive the full recruitment process from initial outreach to onboarding, building a strong foundation to identify, engage, and close top tier talent.
  3. Search for job candidates, including IT candidates, using LinkedIn Recruiter, social media, Boolean searches, and other platforms.
  4. Network and pipeline talent through referrals, local networking groups, conferences, seminars, and events.
  5. Serve as a role model and ambassador of NHT company culture to ensure each candidate has an unrivaled, positive, and memorable experience from start to finish.
  6. Collaborate with hiring managers around role definition, pipeline calibration, interviewing preparedness, candidate assessment and decision making.
  7. Utilize data to improve recruiting efficiency, troubleshoot problems, and analyze performance.
  8. During times of low volume recruiting, play a role in supporting HR programs.

You are a strong fit for this role if you have:

  1. Humility as a team player with a willingness to a diversity of assignments - incredibly difficult challenges to somewhat mundane tasks - depending on the day.
  2. Proven corporate or agency recruiting experience (3+ years) with a strong track record for sourcing and attracting top Engineering, Product, Data Science, Client Services, Operations, and Corporate positions..
  3. Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews based on best practices and research.
  4. Hands-on experience with various selection processes (phone screening, interview coordination, reference check etc).
  5. Strong decision-making and negotiation skills.
  6. The skills to work independently but to also ask for help, direction, clarification when needed.
  7. Strong interpersonal skills, social aptitude, and ability to build relationships.
  8. Technical expertise with an ability to understand and explain job requirements for IT roles and a proven work experience successfully filling technical role.
  9. Solid knowledge of sourcing techniques (e.g. social media recruiting and Boolean search).
  10. Ability to meet hiring targets, generate significant pipeline for multiple requisitions at once, and handle competing priorities.
  11. Bachelor’s degree.
