Position Summary:

The People Ops Coordinator assists the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and Total Rewards teams with reporting, compensation validation, compensation data for surveys, formatting job descriptions, open enrollment and benefit inquiries, and other administrative tasks, as necessary.


Essential Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates and prepares for hiring events through Career Connector and MSFT cohorts on the Jumpstart platform; gathers data from Jumpstart software and works with Talent Acquisition to ensure candidates through JumpStart are accounted for
  • Develops and manages content on department SharePoint; keeps Empowerment department tabs on the People Org Dashboard up to date for CHRO
  • Runs and analyzes weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting including running census files, overtime reporting, Market Pay reporting, and new hire audits
  • Creates, formats, and finalizes job descriptions for existing and new roles; Work with Pax8 University to incorporate competencies into job descriptions
  • Participates in annual salary surveys and updates existing benchmarks annually with new data
  • Provides ad-hoc administrative support for both DEI & Total Rewards teams 
  • Assists with open enrollment and general benefit inquiries


Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:

  • At least two (2) years’ experience in a related role
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Solid Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUP’s, pivot tables, etc.) 
  • Ability to be discrete and keep compensation and other sensitive information confidential
  • Ability to take on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm
  • Ability to build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives
  • Ability to relate openly and comfortably with diverse groups of people
  • Ability to plan and prioritize work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals


Required Education & Certifications:

B.A./B.S. in related field or equivalent work experience


Compensation: Qualified candidates can expect a starting salary of $42,000 annually

*Note: Compensation is benchmarked on local Denver Metro area market rates. Qualified candidates in other locations can expect a salary package that may be adjusted based off applicable cost of wages in their respective location.
