Overview of the position:
In this newly created role, you will establish yourself as a go-to partner on People Practices including employee benefits, onboarding, employee relations and engagement. In addition, you will be responsible for the administration of HR policies, procedures, and programs. By building strong, respectful relationships, you will contribute to the organization in an impactful manner.

What you’ll be doing:
- Provide overall People Operations and program support to the organization - will include both U.S. and international employees
- Assist in the creation, implementation, and ongoing maintenance/updates of HR systems, policies and procedures
- Manage HR data and maintain data integrity in our HRIS and other HR systems, with regular audits and analysis of reported data
- Perform benefits administration, including claims resolution, change reporting, auditing and approving invoices for payment and communicating benefits information to employees:
- Health and welfare
- 401(k)
- Wellness
- Leaves of Absence
- COBRA
- Maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations
- Manage new staff on-boarding and off-boarding people processes
- Provide support and training to managers in the interpretation and use of HR policies, processes and programs
- Participate in driving and supporting special projects with organization-wide impact
Skills and experience that are important for the role:
- Bachelor’s degree and 4 - 6 years of human resources experience, that specifically includes benefits administration
- Solid understanding of employee benefits, compliance, and employment law
- Proficiency in HRIS payroll and benefits tracking systems (prior experience with Paylocity would be an asset), and experience creating and improving workflows and internal processes with a focus on enhancing the employee experience
- Strong attention to details and highly organized
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a desire to work in a highly collaborative environment
- Proven ability to work with highly confidential data with a high level of professionalism
- Flexibility to handle a variety of tasks and changing business needs
- Proficiency with Google Suite is a plus

This position is based in our corporate headquarters and learning center in east Boulder, CO.
