About the Position.  We are seeking a seasoned People & Culture Manager to help take our culture and team to the next level. This role will work directly with Senior Management to evolve People strategies that foster culture and business growth. The People & Culture Manager will be a driver and visionary for the culture and people of the organization. They will lead the charge in fostering a culture at Flagship Biosciences that represents our values.

Essential Job Functions

  • Support and serve as a role model for the company’s mission, vision and values.
  • Work closely with CEO and other executives as a strategic business partner on people-related issues.
  • Drive employee satisfaction, including a sense of overall engagement, unity, and trust.
  • Develop and execute scalable people-related processes, operations, and solutions to include talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, employee satisfaction/relations, learning and development, compensation, benefits management, facilities, and compliance.
  • Act as the first point of contact for people-related concerns, for all employees. 
  • Be a confidential and welcoming resource dedicated to developing strong relationships across the organization to strengthen people operations involvement. 

Required Experience, Knowledge & Skills:

  • 8+ years of People & Culture (HR) experience with solid knowledge of business practices and principles
  • Experience mentoring and coaching a team of diverse skills and backgrounds
  • Ability to gracefully handle competing priorities simultaneously with high attention to detail
  • High emotional intelligence and strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Maturity and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Office Systems
  • Understanding of EOS Management System and experience with BambooHR a plus
