The Payroll & Compensation Analyst works within People Operations to support the HRIS, benefits, payroll, and compensation needs across the company. In this role, you will have the opportunity to effect change within the organization by supporting the administration of payroll and compensation initiatives, creating reports, performing data analysis, and offering innovative ideas for our robust benefits and perks programs. Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage and process multi-state and international payroll using ADP Workforce Now
  • Review, analyze, and document current payroll and tax procedures; recommend and implement approved changes leading to best-practice operations
  • Provides administrative and analytical support with all compensation and benefit plans
  • Manages and maintains employee personnel records and files
  • Assists with the administration of a variety compensation, benefits, and employee engagement surveys
  • Analyzes and produces reports and ad-hoc data requests using tools such as Excel and ADP Reporting
  • Works within the HRIS applications (primarily ADP, Salesforce, and iCIMS) to help research and resolve missing information or data errors within systems
  • Identifies opportunities to automate / streamline reports, and redesign reports for greater efficiency
  • Maintains data security for highly sensitive records, ensuring no data leaks outside its intended area
  • Act as the primary point of contact for ancillary benefit administration
  • Research benefit plans and providers to make recommendations for improvements
  • Assists in the development of incentive, merit, promotion, and market adjustment programs
  • Assists with New Employee Orientation
  • Assist with events planning within the People Operations department

Qualifications

Requirements for Success:

  • BA/BS degree in Human Resources or other applicable field (or equivalent work experience)
  • 2+ years of experience in compensation, payroll and benefits
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel (e.g. formulas, pivot tables, macros and automation)
  • Must be detail oriented, analytical, and able to handle multiple projects
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Solid interpersonal skills, as well as ability to handle sensitive and/or difficult matters

 

 

Helpful for Success:

  • Prior experience using ADP Workforce Now, iCIMS, and Salesforce
  • Quantitative problem solver; analytical thinker who can draw conclusions from multiple data sources
  • Collaborative team player who works well with others to achieve positive results
  • Entrepreneurial spirit; embraces change and the challenge to innovate that comes with it
