PAYROLL MANAGER

Denver-based accounting firm looking for an experienced Payroll Manager.  The company is fast-paced, growing rapidly, and intensely focused on creating a positive environment for its employees and a great experience for its clients.  The company has over 500 clients and the Senior Payroll Manger will manage the payroll department, oversee direct communications with clients, and help ensure the smooth processing of client’s payrolls and the resolution of issues.  This person will also be responsible for payroll systems implementations and the overall process improvements necessary to support the Company through its growth.  A desire to be in the details and deliver exceptional customer experience is necessary to be successful in this position

Outcomes:

-Manage the overall workflow for the Company’s 300+ payroll clients

-Ensure all payrolls are processed and taxes are filed on-time and accurately

-Build and manage the payroll team including managing payroll processing, payroll tax filings, and new client on-boarding

-Work in conjunction with the accounting team to ensure the clients’ accounting records are accurate as it relates to payroll transactions

Requirements:

-Five years of payroll and payroll tax experience

-BS Required

-Multi-client experience preferred

-Strong Excel skills required

-Excellent oral and written communications skills critical

-Experience with Paycom and Quickbooks payroll a plus
