Reporting to the Director of Talent Acquisition, this role will partner directly with our Engineering, Product, UX and Corporate IT teams to drive and execute the technical talent strategy. Our Technology team has significant growth goals, and as the Technical Recruiting Manager you will play a key role in driving Pie's success while up leveling and building a talent dense technology organization.
How You'll Do It
- Provide leadership and management to Pie's Technical Recruiters, Sourcers and contractors to achieve assigned OKRs, metrics, and goals.
- Partner with key stakeholders to define future talent needs and develop sourcing strategies to achieve our mission of building an exceptional, diverse technical community of Pie-oneers.
- Partner with Engineering leadership to understand organizational goals and objectives and drive hiring plans to achieve them.
- Develop strategies to identify, attract and hire the best engineering talent possible, with an eye on diversity.
- Manage, develop and enhance the full life-cycle recruiting process for Pie's engineering team, providing candidates and stakeholders with a world-class experience.
- Coach hiring leaders through the recruiting process, to ensure a great experience for the entire team.
- Manage agency relationships.
- Maintain accurate reporting by leveraging tools such as our ATS. Analyze data to identify trends, risks and roadblocks.
- Develop and execute plans to identify and drive productivity improvements that enable the team to deliver to hiring goals.
- Work closely with business leaders to influence and deliver quality assessment while maintaining a high touch candidate experience through all aspects of the recruitment funnel.
- Periodically lead and/or participate in cross-business/cross-company special projects and initiatives related to talent acquisition, as well as the broader People & Talent Roadmap.
- Ensure that individuals on the team are learning, growing, and advancing in their respective careers.
- Maintain a strong model for partnering with stakeholders and key partners.
- Ensure accurate business reporting to clients and stakeholders against quality metrics monthly.
The Right Stuff
- At least five years of full life cycle recruiting experience required, a minimum of seven years experience preferred.
- At least three years recruiting technical talent in a high-growth environment is required.
- At least two years experience managing or leading technical recruiters, helping manage workload, resources and achieving goals is required.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Previous startup experience is preferred.
- Experience with an ATS is required, preferably with Lever or Greenhouse.
- Ability to manage and navigate complex recruiting situations with stakeholders and candidates is required.
- Demonstrated ability to articulate the employee value proposition to candidates and write a compelling pitch email to prospective candidates is required.
- Strong technical acumen around technology, software development languages and tools is required.

Compensation Range for position: $144,000 - $181,000
Each year Pie reviews company performance and may grant discretionary bonuses to eligible team members.

This role has the option to be hybrid or remote. Hybrid work locations provide team members with the flexibility of working partially from our Denver or DC office and from home. Remote team members must live and work in the United States*, and have access to reliable, high-speed internet.
