In this crucial role you will have the opportunity to collaborate, influence, and partner with teams of Human Resources Business Partners across the globe in support of the Product & Platform teams and varied Human Resources COEs, and support functions, The position is an individual contributor role with responsibility for relationships, talent strategy (including collaborating on location execution and implementation) for Product & Platform executives and their respective organizations across multiple geographic sites.

As Product & Platform focuses on building ecosystems, operational excellence, customer experience, and digital grown these organizations provide critical functions to the business. Because of the high visibility and focused responsibility, this People Strategy role will partner with the executive leadership of Product and Platform, Human Resources People Strategy, Local/Regional HR teams, and the People Org’s COEs (both regionally and globally) to make a significant impact on our business.

You will perform and/or partner with COEs on all responsibilities for the function that include, but are not limited to salary management planning, talent management, coaching, job audit analysis, compensation analysis, workforce planning, HR metrics, leadership development, and organizational development. This People Strategy Leader may be considered and sought after will be responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.

In this role you will need a strong ability to anticipate client needs and proactively identify areas for collaboration and integration inside and outside the HR organization, while serving as a coach and confidant to the executive leadership teams will be expected. An ability to advise and collaborate with key stakeholders in the development of the HR Strategic Plan, roll out of key HR initiatives, reporting and communications are a critical part of the role. The selected candidate will influence, motivate, and engage HR colleagues to perform productively in a matrixed team environment, set an example of customer-focused behavior, have excellent problem-solving skills, and thrive in an environment of continual change. When safe, and practical there may be 10% US and/or international travel. travel. Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed to support the organization.

You will need a minimum of 7 years of experience in varied HR assignments with 3 years of recent HR business partner experience, as well as 2+ years supporting IT. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline. Demonstrated experience to organize, manage and integrate multiple geographically dispersed teams and clients successfully. Demonstrated successful project management experience for large scale activity. Leadership experience making difficult and sometimes unpopular decisions. Demonstrated experience leading a change initiative. Demonstrated experience mentoring HR professionals. Able to travel ~10%.

It would be nice if you had strong persuasion and negotiations skills and experience. A broad human resource background to include functional experience in one or more Centers of Excellence (COE) including staffing, compensation, talent, and learning, etc. Previous assignments operating in a matrixed organization. Strong written and verbal communication, and presentation skills and executive presence. Proven ability to move seamlessly from strategy to flawless execution. Strong analytical skills. Strong business acumen skills. Willingness to travel to various US geographic locations and international locations where the organization has significant responsibility. Green belt or Agile Certifications.

Annual base salary gross: $81,813-144,11. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the Western Union salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. The base salary is one component of Western Union’s total compensation package for employees.
