In order to accelerate our growth and achieve our mission to serve 1000s more students, we've raised over $70 million from top tier investors including Felicis Ventures, Bessemer Venture Partners, and Redpoint Ventures (among other social impact and VC partners!). Now, we’re looking to add a Partner Marketing Manager to the team.

As the Partner Marketing Manager, you’ll play a central role in Guild’s mission by developing strong connections across current and future Fortune 1000 client organizations with corporate communications and marketing leaders and build awareness for their education benefits program. In this role, you’ll develop an intimate understanding of the marketing and communications workflows and needs of our employer partners and their employees to drive behavior and feed new value-creating solutions back to our internal teams. 

A day in our open, collaborative workspace will look a little like this:

  • Relationship management
    • Developing relationships with corporate marketing and communication leaders at Guild’s largest employers
    • Thinking strategically about how to successfully market employer partner education benefits program details and drive activation within employer partners
    • Traveling to regional locations of our clients (should be willing to travel up to 10-20%)
  • Employer communications
    • Working with your Guild team and the employer corporate communications teams at our employer partners on building quarterly and annual corporate communications and marketing plans
    • Building creative strategic campaigns with your team to drive engagement within our partners’ employee populations
    • Create content for email and collateral campaigns by employer partner to target eligible employees through corporate communications channels

In this role, you’ll grow and expand your skills by:

  • Working with some of the largest, most influential organizations in the country
  • Honing the ability to develop insights into Fortune 1000 communication channels and growth levers
  • Own strategy development for employer partner’s corporate communications channels
  • Understand the employer’s brand voice to tailor campaigns and messaging to speak directly to eligible employee populations
  • Collaborate with Employer Account Owners and Field Marketing Managers within Client Success team and partner cross-functionally with Guild’s Marketing Team to evolve the partner’s marketing strategy, content, and channels
  • Measure and track the success of campaigns and initiatives and provide feedback and improvements to inform future strategy; Evaluate campaigns against performance metrics
  • Receiving feedback through our learning-focused, twice annual Structured Growth Conversations

You’ll know if you’re successful by:

  • Maintaining strong relationships with employers’ corporate communications and marketing leaders
  • Becoming an expert on our employers’ marketing channels to businesses so that you can lead marketing goals, plans, and messaging
  • Developing strong internal cross-functional relationships to effectively respond to employer needs
  • Delivering increased student enrollment, engagement, and retention to our employer partners

What you’ll add to Guild - as an individual and part of the broader team:

  • 5+ years in corporate communications, marketing, or brand strategy experience
  • Experience working with external partners to co-develop and execute marketing campaigns
  • Excellent communication, writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel when required
  • Strong customer service skills; ability to build productive and trusting relationships with clients
  • You are an amazing marketer - you’re wildly creative and have worked to create innovative campaigns in previous roles
  • You have the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional team members within the company
  • Extremely organized with high attention to detail and the ability to keep track of both the high-level progress and the small details
  • A drive to work hard and bring your own perspective and experience to your work and the broader team while working in a fast-paced and ever-changing startup

Our downtown Denver office is easily accessible via public transportation, with plenty of restaurants in the surrounding area.
