To help Granicus deliver on our mission, we're looking for an L&D Specialist, embedded within our HR team, for full lifecycle learning and development activities that enhance the organizations performance. At its heart, this position is about helping people grow and achieve success in their current role and beyond!

As an L&D Specialist you will partner with HR, and across the business, to conduct needs analysis for training, design and develop custom content, facilitate trainings, and coordinate training activities. Examples of projects you will work on include expanding our New Hire Orientation; supporting managers with Role Specific Onboarding Training; creating and facilitating stand-alone training modules on soft skill topics such as Delivering Effective Performance Reviews; as well as assisting in the design and facilitation of Manager Training.

What You Get To Do:

  • Own all aspects of Granicus' HR Learning and Development processes, programs, content, vendors, and systems; providing recommendations to enhance our L&D function to help meet company goals
  • Utilize the ADDIE model to formulate a teaching approach and determine the optimal instructional methods, such as individual training, group instruction, web-based training, lectures and/or demonstrations
  • Deliver highly effective, results driven, Instructor Led and Web Based training and development programs on product, processes, procedures, and soft skills
  • Build strong relationships with departments and employees across the company, to understand needs, and partner on creating effective and relevant content
  • Develop metrics and a means of measuring the effectiveness of training programs and provides feedback to management and leadership
  • Responsible for making sure all security and harassment compliance training modules are current and that all employees are in compliance; provides necessary reports related to security and compliance trainings during all related audits
  • Manage our LMS (Litmos) and all relevant content, including videos, courses and other training tools
  • This list isn't meant to be all-inclusive; we're excited for someone to come into this role and partner with the HR team on building out our L&D content, programs, and processes

What We Need In You:

  •  Knowledge of adult learning, instructional design, curriculum development techniques and group facilitation tactics; able to adapt instructional style to maximize learning outcomes
  •  3+ years of prior training, teaching, or related Human Resources experience, preferably supporting remote employees and utilizing multifaceted training approaches including e-learning solutions
  •  1-2 years of instructional design, or training content design
  •  One or more years of experience working with a Learning Management System (LMS) or equivalent eLearning platform
  •  Strong public speaking skills and at ease moderating large groups
  •  Able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization and build strong relationships
  •  Basic project management skills, effective organizational skills, and high attention to detail
  •  Ability to travel 30% on average (some months you won't travel at all, some months you may travel 2 or 3 times)

1999 Broadway is located in-between Denver’s Downtown and Uptown neighborhoods. Granicus occupies the 36 and 37 floors of the building.
