You will focus on contributing to the rewards strategy by delivering and consulting best-in-class compensation programs for functions and regions. You will support and enable Western Union to attract, motivate, and retain the best talent as we evolve our business to be the leader in cross-border money transfer. You will partner with leaders across the people organization and the company to determine where and how to leverage rewards practices. Provide consultative support to HR partners and business leaders related to compensation practices that support the talent strategy, address organizational challenges, and support key business priorities for assigned functional areas. Ensure programs comply with legal requirements and are cost-effective. Participate in market competitive analysis of current compensation practices looking for opportunities to leverage innovative practices that align with the talent strategy, focusing on remaining locally competitive and relevant while retaining global principles.

For such a critical role, Bachelor's degree, education, or equivalent experience is required, or equal commercial education, as well as a CCP or GRP certification, would be strongly preferred. Minimum of five years of progressively increasing compensation and benefits management experience preferred. History of experiencing leading projects in an in-person and virtual setting is preferred. Expert-level of experience as a Senior Compensation professional required. You will have a solid understanding of immerging trends in the competitive environment to provide innovative solutions to compensation and talent-related challenges. Results-oriented, innovating, setting stretch goals, and motivating global teams to achieve them. Critical thinking, ability to navigate complex problems, analyze processes, synthesize data, communicate effectively, and deliver solutions and results. Proven strong project management experience with knowledge of complete project life cycle, including business process design, documentation, execution and change management. History of experience in successfully assessing, developing, and implementing the principles of compensation & benefits in an organizational setting, exercising responsibility in monitoring, and complying with local regulations, compensation/benefits administration, and communication. Proven experience working collaboratively in a highly matrixed environment and relationship management with a heavy emphasis on compensation management required

The on-target earnings range is $118,800-$158,400, which includes a base salary of

$99,000 - $132,000, short-term (15% of base), and long-term (5% of base) incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary and are based on a candidate's qualifications, skills, and competencies.
