An Insider's view of Western Union

What's something quirky about your company?

As a #WULeader, I value our diversity. Through inclusive action, I’ve joined our Pune band, pride parades & theatre to understand employee & customer experience. With global teams, I’ve danced w/interns, cooked, learned words in other languages, dressed in local celebration attire, climbed a mountain & a rock wall & visited the wonders of the world

Shannon

Head of People Strategy

How do you empower your team to be more creative?

“I think the most creative ideas come from unexpected places. I encourage my team to invite someone new from a completely different area of the organization to our meetings. And I encourage my team to jump into each other’s team meetings. It is always amazing to see the new insights and connections that come from a fresh perspective.”
