POSITION SUMMARY:

 

The Human Resources Manager will report to the VP of Human Resources and will be responsible for evaluating employee programs, recommending improvements to employee relations policies and making sure that all employee-related policies in each department align with our corporate goals and values. The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit and a customer centric mindset. We are looking for someone with a general knowledge of Human Resources , experience with employee relations and a passion for employee development and engagement.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Job performance will involve a variety of activities including:

  • Develop programs to enhance the employee experience and to maintain a positive culture for all employees
  • Ensure that the onboarding process effectively introduces new employees to Archer
  • Create and maintain the Company’s performance management and learning programs
  • Assist with the recommendation, development, implementation, and training on new policies and procedures
  • Create learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees
  • Work closely with management to create programs aimed at increasing employee engagement
  • Provide advice and counsel to management and staff for HR related topics and concerns
  • Act as a liaison between the company and outside legal and professional resources to ensure that all employment policies follow current laws and regulations
  • In depth knowledge of federal and multi-state laws and regulations
  • Act as a trusted advisor for functional leaders and build relationship with management and staff.
  • Review, understand, and comply with ArcherDX HIPAA Security policies and procedures.
  • Safeguarding the privacy and security of protected health information and European Union personal data.
  • Processing and handling of European Union personal data only as directed by ArcherDX for purposes of personalized molecular pathology.

 

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5 years’ Human Resources experience with focus on employee development
  • Demonstrated ability to implement and maintain programs that enhance employee engagement
  • Comprehensive understanding of local, state and federal employment laws
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Ability to develop training materials and conduct presentations

 

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR or related business field or a equivalent combination of education and related work experience
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desired.

  • Detail oriented with the ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines in a growing fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication as well as excellent presentation skills
  • Advanced PC skills
