Job Description

An exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and dedicated HR professional with a solid foundation in all functional aspects of human resources. The HR Generalist will provide day-to-day support to all levels of employees and assist with projects and processes across a full range of HR functions. This role will focus on systems management, employee relations, benefits, compliance, HR policies and procedures, and company culture. The ideal candidate is a true generalist that thrives in a high growth environment focused on developing people, culture, and HR programs and processes. The HR Generalist will help champion Conga’s mission, vision and core values and provide solutions to employee related matters while supporting the business and driving greater efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain Conga’s HRIS (BambooHR) and ensure all employee data is accurate and up to date
  • Help manage all stages of the employee life-cycle (post recruitment) from new hire onboarding/orientation, to development and support, to offboarding and termination/exits
  • Support Conga’s benefits programs including interacting with brokers, insurance carriers, and key liaisons for compliance and to help resolve complex problems related to employee eligibility and enrollment
  • Manage employee leaves (i.e. FMLA and parental leave), worker’s compensation claims and disability claims
  • Act as a trusted advisor to employees in the interpretation of HR policies and procedures and assist in resolution of issues
  • Ensure federal, state and local compliance related to employment and workplace expectations
  • Support the hiring process, including completing background checks, communicating new hire logistics, and I-9 verifications
  • Assist with exit interviews and consolidate feedback to gain valuable insights in all aspects of the work environment including work culture, day to day concerns, processes, workplace ethics and employee morale
  • Participate in cross-functional project teams and work in partnership with the Talent Management Team and Employment Branding to develop People programs that align with department and company goals
  • Act as a culture ambassador and work across our global offices with Office Managers and Coordinators to implement and maintain consistency of cultural events, programs, and traditions of the company
  • Help expand and organize Conga’s volunteer, perk and professional development programs

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3+ years' experience in the role of a human resource professional with a firm understanding of HR best practices and employment regulations
  • Experience with BambooHR strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of health benefits, FSA, HSA, FMLA, COBRA etc.
  • Strong technical skills a must
  • Exceptional intuition, sensitivity, listening and problem-solving skills. Must be approachable, empathetic and able to earn trust and credibility across the organization
  • Positive attitude and ability to remain flexible in an evolving environment
  • Self-starter, resourceful, ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to manage confidential information and operate with discretion
  • Creativity and a sense of humor are strongly encouraged
