The Opportunity

Registria is seeking a Human Resources Director with experience in design and execution of all aspects of the Human Resources function in a newly created HR Department. This includes policies and best practices, and programs for talent acquisition and onboarding, enhancing collaboration and organizational culture within a hybrid remote work environment, training and career development, employee relations, and compensation and benefits. The position must ensure Registria compliance with federal, state, and local regulations for multiple locations.

The ideal candidate is someone who thinks strategically and is willing and able to do the work to accomplish HR tasks and objectives. The right person for the role also possess the knowledge, experience, relational skills, and confidence to provide guidance to senior leadership and line management in the application of HR programs in support of the organization’s strategic direction and desired culture.

Note: This is position is located in the Denver Metro Area and currently does not have direct reports.

What You’ll Do

· Partner with Registria’s senior leadership and team members to identify opportunities and support initiatives to enhance employee engagement and organizational culture (e.g., social events, staff wellness, workplace flexibility, communication, and collaboration in a remote work environment, etc.)

· Develop and implement recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and orientation programs that attract and effectively assess qualified candidates, as well as effectively assimilate and retain new hires to meet the organization’s resource needs.

· Design, implement, and oversee best practice employee performance management process and systems. This includes a process that helps to clarify performance expectations for organizational and individual success, enables and encourages on-going feedback and coaching, reinforces accountability, and leads to job enrichment and career advancement that further engage employees and meet the company’s current and future needs.

· Create organizational strategies to develop and effectively deliver learning and development activities to close identified gaps in employee competencies and skills.

· Provide guidance and counsel to managers regarding human resource issues, investigate and resolve employee complaints or other issues, initiate and monitor best practices for effective employee relations including the development of policies, procedures, and management training.

· Design and administer effective, competitive and legally compliant compensation and benefits programs that align with the organization’s strategic direction and talent needs.

· Monitor and evaluate employee engagement and effectiveness of HR initiatives, and assist with the development of new or modified strategies and/or policies.

· Identify needs and emerging trends, and recommend and execute HR solutions for Registria’s growing company.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

 

What’s Required to be Successful

Knowledge and Skills:

· Comprehensive knowledge of Human Resource concepts and principles

· Working knowledge of employment laws and other compliance issues

· Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills

· Demonstrated ability to think strategically and act tactically

· Excellent organizational, time management, and follow-up skills

· Expertise in analysis, critical decision making, project management, and process improvement

· Ability to foster teamwork and build collaborative relationships

· Demonstrated ability to anticipate and solve practical problems

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

· Outstanding judgement, sensitivity and high discretion

· Ability to work seamlessly across different levels and functions in an organization

Education:

· Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent years of experience in Human Resources or related field

Experience:

Required:

· Minimum of 7 years experience in Human Resources

· Experience managing all aspects of Human Resources function for a mid-size growing company

 

Preferred:

· Experience working for a technology company

· Human Resources certification (e.g. SHRM-CP or SCP, PHR or SPRH)

· Competitive salary range: $120,000 - $140,000, plus equity (bonus eligible)
