Hotel Engine is a rapidly growing company based in Denver, CO. We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist. This position requires someone who is well-organized, experienced in recruiting and talent management, task-oriented, professional and works well with in a fast-paced environment. The ability to bring industry best practices to the table is highly desired.
What you’ll be doing:
• Develop a high level hiring and retention process unique to Travelers Haven’s culture.
• Handle all on-boarding process ensuring all the necessary paperwork is completed.
• Payroll processing
• In conjunction with management, develop and distribute HR department communications.
• Record keeping of employee information including personal data, compensation, benefits, tax data, attendance, performance reviews or evaluations, and termination date and reason.
• Maintain and update company intranet content and employee directory.
• Coordinate company events, fundraisers, volunteering.
• Ensure employee files are up to date and complete with annual reviews, compensation agreements, non-competes, confidentiality records.
• Participate in the orientation process for new associates, including an overview of the employee handbook, policies and procedures, etc.
• Provide general administrative duties as needed.
• Miscellaneous office duties, scanning, printing, filing, and data entry, as needed.
What you should have:
• Minimum of 3+ years of Human Resources experience.
• Degree in Human Resources or comparable degree/work experience.
• Recruiting and talent management experience a must.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience with ADP is a plus.
•Advanced MS Office knowledge (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Must have the ability to quickly learn systems, processes, and procedures.
• Must be able to meet established deadlines, while working with a sense of urgency and attention to detail.
• Ability to problem solve and work on several projects simultaneously while continuing to provide quality work.
• Exemplary organizational skills.
• Must be able to work independently as well as take instruction from supervisor.
