HR Specialist I (Entry Level)

Join the Vertafore HR team and help manage the day-to-day processing of all HR and benefits functions. This is a fabulous opportunity for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented person who is interested in a career in Human Resources and Total Rewards.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Maintain and manage employee information in the HR system (Workday)
· Create reports and manage HR data
· Research and resolve employee inquiries in a clear, concise, and timely manner
· Assist with employee travel system (Concur)
· Assist with unemployment, immigration, compensation, and other employee programs
Skills & Requirements:
· 1+ year of HR experience (preferred)
· Strong computer skills – especially Microsoft products
· Excellent communication skills – verbal, written and interpersonal
· Team-oriented personality and working style
· Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
· Desire to learn and grow a career in Human Resources
· Knowledge of Benefits and/or Payroll a plus
