Global Compensation and Compliance Manager

Job Description

Conga is looking for a Global Compensation & Compliance Manager to join our Total Rewards team to be a key thought partner and further develop our global compensation strategy. This critical leadership role reports into our Senior Director, Head of Total Rewards and HR Operations. Leading and enhancing our compensation strategy, structure and philosophy are all part of a day’s challenge in this dynamic role. Role and Responsibilities

As the Global Compensation Manager, you will serve as a key leader of the Total Rewards team and interact regularly with the HR Business Partners, Benefits, Mobility, HR Operations team and key business leaders. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic compensation professional with a knack for getting things done. We'll need you to have both strategic and hands-on experience. This position is a great opportunity to make an impact and to provide vision and direction around strategic compensation program delivery.

Compensation

  • You will identify, assess and execute on-going compensation process improvement
  • You will partner with the People Operations and HR Technology team to design, configure and administer compensation systems
  • You will provide leadership in company-wide compensation communications and total rewards delivery
  • You will participate in compensation surveys and analyze market data; manage all benchmarking activity
  • You will design compensation communication, statements, tools and processes for recruiting, managers, employees and other key partners
  • You will partner with other total reward team members, consultants, HRIS, and other business partners on design and project work
  • You will create expert analysis and modeling as needed for program design, business-specific benchmarking and pay range creation, and impact analysis
  • You will assist in preparing and facilitating analysis and materials for Compensation Committee and external Board of Directors meetings
  • You will be a key thought partner on Total Rewards initiatives
  • You will maintain the evolving internal job architecture and structure
  • You will ensure pay practices are compliant with requirements in the countries where we operate.

Compliance

  • Oversee the development, improvement and implementation of human resource policies in compliance with Global, Federal, State and local labor laws to ensure all functions within HR meet the requirements of various employment laws, enterprise compliance and minimize the potential risks for the HR operations by inventorying, assessing, creating, modifying and/or developing compliant policies/procedures for all HR processes
  • Support HR compliance requirements and implement updated and/or new internal compliance processes/policies as needed
  • Work closely with internal business partners (People Operations, Payroll, Finance, Audit and Legal)
  • Oversee the development and submission of timely and accurate compliance reporting, actions and/or record administration to include, but not limited to AAP, EEO-1, Vet-100, 5500's, SPDs, I-9 records, sexual harassment prevention training, etc.
  • Audit HR data to ensure data integrity across HR systems and in functional areas that receive data from HR, including Workday, payroll, benefits, etc.
  • Audit all employment related documents (i.e., NH documents/agreements) to identify any gaps, inconsistencies, errors or incomplete information, unsigned/missing documents
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure employment documents are current
  • Work closely with global mobility, payroll, tax, and outside vendors as needed to ensure employment tax compliance related to international transfers or assignments
  • Work cross functionally to ensure all HR processes are appropriately implemented and the flow of information is accurate and timely
  • Define an inventory of proactive monitoring of various HR compliance initiatives /programs, and mitigate identified or emerging risks, measure internal control effectiveness, and develop action items to remediate existing risk cases

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business/Employment law, Human Resources, Business Management or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years compensation experience, including experience in leveling jobs, analyzing market data and proposing sound recommendations to recruiters and HR Business Partners, maintaining internal equity and adhering to company compensation practices and philosophies
  • Knowledge of U.S. employment practices and regulations required, global experience highly desired
  • Experience in program/project management experience, including change management, project management, stakeholder management, user training, and communications
  • Attention to details and focus on accuracy
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to use sound judgement to drive complex issues to resolution and influence to achieve result
  • Experience working with internal and external auditors
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Familiarity with Workday a plus
