Job Overview:

We are a small but mighty team looking for an HR Generalist who will help shape and support the Alchemer experience by being the day-to-day resource for employees on topics including Benefits, Employee Relations, and Process and Policies. This role will champion culture, drive business outcomes, and play an integral part in the development of our team as Alchemer grows. If you are passionate about modern HR this is an amazing opportunity to design and build programs and processes from the ground up with high impact, highly cross-functional business strategy and direct one-on-one development and coaching. 

This person will report directly to the VP of HR.

Responsibilities and Duties (What you’ll do every day):

  • Provide exceptional customer service to your fellow employees
  • Assist with new hire orientation, open enrollment, and various HR events in support of our growing organization
  • Work directly with managers to provide training and guidance on performance management, behavioral coaching, misconduct issues, discipline and terminations
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on company policies, procedure, exceptions, best practices and performance management
  • Identify ineffective or inconsistent practices by monitoring and investigation of issues and makes recommendations for remediation
  • Maintains in depth knowledge of legal requirements of day to day management of employees, reducing legal risk and ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Coordinate with Payroll and Benefits regarding leaves of absence, ensuring all regulations and policies are applied consistently
  • Ensure organized and compliant record keeping using systems and tools
  • Stay up to date on trends and relevant changes to HR related laws
  • Coordinate with other team members on benefits administration, recruiting and payroll

Qualifications (What you’ll bring to this role):

  • 5+ years of experience in an HR-related role
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance regarding employment law and best practices
  • Experience in a high-growth environment and understand (and welcome!) the challenges and opportunities ahead
  • Experience rolling out HR initiatives, such as performance reviews, employer branding, policy and handbooks
  • A customer service mindset and positive, approachable demeanor
  • Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality and exercise professional judgment and discretion

Compensation for this position includes an annual base salary of $80,000 to $100,000, and eligibility for an annual bonus, and participation in the Founder’s Pool program.
