Who You Are

You have 2-5 years experience in the HR field and a degree in a related area (business, communications, etc). You don’t have to be an expert HR tactician quite yet, but you must have fundamental familiarity with administering compensation, benefits, and talent acquisition programs and processes.

You’re always the “organized” one in your circle of friends. You’re continually sorting out every detail of your life and constantly checking things off your to-do lists.  You secretly enjoy creating spreadsheets to coordinate the finer points of life. You’ve worked hard to hone your organizational, administrative, and people skills, but now you’re ready to apply that expertise to something bigger. In short, you’re ready to make your mark on our luxury hospitality brand by administering the heck out of our office and HR responsibilities.

How You Can Help

With an outstanding vision and a team full of A-Players, things are constantly changing around here and, as such, you’ll need to as well - but that’s no problem for a proactive, hands-on, multi-tasker like you. With minimal oversight and profound poise, you’ll deftly switch between running payroll, troubleshooting basic IT hiccups, and completing phone screens with job candidates. You like a good challenge and no detail escapes your attention, so you’ll do well working with our dispersed team to administer and streamline our current HR and office-admin processes and procedures to make life easier for everyone from our CEO in Boulder to our GMs in the field.

How Else?

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

  • You’ll report directly to our COO and be responsible for coordinating a wide range of HR and office-administration activities like teammate relations, compensation & benefits administration, recruiting, and training across multiple, geographically dispersed teams throughout Colorado, Utah, and California.
  • Administering a host of HR-related systems, like: Namely (HRIS & payroll), TSheets (timecards), JazzHR (ATS), Abacus (expense tracking), DocuSign (e-paperwork), and Google Suite (Gmail, Drive, Voice, etc).
  • Compiling and submitting biweekly payroll batches including hourly and salary teammates, benefits allowances and deductions, multi-state taxation, etc.
  • Acting as the main point of contact for our insurance brokers to administer all our insurance plans including medical, dental, vision, workers compensation, general liability, etc.
  • Coordinating our recruiting and hiring efforts by writing job descriptions, setting compensation benchmarks, advertising jobs online, communicating with candidates, completing initial phone screens, and onboarding newly hired teammates into the company.
  • Organizing, arranging, systematizing, cataloguing, standardizing, streamlining, decluttering, and generally creating order out of chaos.
  • Taking care of all the behind-the-scenes things that keep our operations flowing smoothly, like sorting mail, ordering supplies, corresponding with service providers, filing expense reports, and coordinating destination-specific and company-wide events.
  • Basic familiarity with employment law would be a big plus, so you can help us follow all applicable laws, regulations, and operating procedures while communicating with Federal and State Government offices in CO, UT, and CA.
  • We use Apple laptops, so you’ll either need to be familiar with the basics of using them or be an excellent Googler who can figure things out with thorough searching.

How We Can Help You

Allow us to be upfront: InvitedHome is a modest, humble team, and as such, everyone wears many hats.
