HR Coordinator

Peaksware is seeking a dynamic HR Coordinator to join our fabulous team in Boulder. As HR Coordinator, you will primarily provide support in the areas of recruiting, hiring and on-boarding - while having the opportunity to support and work closely with the overall HR team.
Reporting to the Recruiting Manager, this position will be heavily involved in the recruiting process from end-to-end including scheduling candidate interviews, conducting phone screen interviews, and implementing new hire on-boarding processes. You will play a key role in keeping all things recruiting running smoothly while assisting in other HR areas as needed, helping the company achieve its objectives by providing operational and administrative support.
Your day-to-day in our open, collaborative workspace will look like:
- Performing administrative duties in support of recruiting and interviewing processes, including tracking and managing the status of candidates in the company’s ATS (applicant tracking system)
- Regular maintenance of HR data, including running reporting metrics
- Scheduling meetings/interviews with candidates and hiring team members
- Conducting phone screen interviews and reference checks
- Processing third-party background checks
- Coordinating new hire checklist to ensure employees have a great on-boarding experience
- Working with new employees to complete required paperwork, including I-9 verification
- Organizing materials for networking and recruiting events as needed
- Performing customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions
- Maintaining employee files, the majority of which are online
- Assisting with processing of terminations
- Assisting with or preparing correspondence as requested
- Making photocopies; mails, scans and emails documents; and performing other administrative functions
- Performing other duties as assigned
To be successful in this role, we are looking for:
- 1-2 years experience in an HR support role with general knowledge of HR practices and employment laws
- ATS familiarity and experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and Google Apps
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: confident and able to communicate at all levels of the organization
- Reliable, trustworthy and confidential nature
- Commitment and ownership of job responsibilities; deadline-oriented work ethic and mindset
- Excellent organization skills and meticulous attention to detail; process-oriented nature
- Demonstrated initiative. Ability to identify things that need to be done or areas where assistance would be helpful, with the desire to jump in and assist without being asked
- Curiosity, integrity, honesty and a sense of humor
Desired qualifications:
- Experience in recruiting and hiring processes
- Experience working with Jobvite
- HRIS experience, specifically Paycom
