We are looking for a seasoned People Partner to join the growing team here at Snapdocs. This high impact role is an opportunity for you to use your expertise and people skills to continue to shape and develop our nascent HR program. As a subject matter expert, we will be asking you what we should be doing, rather than telling you what to do. If that sounds exciting, read on...
Snapdocs is an early-stage, rapidly growing company backed by investors like Sequoia, F-Prime Capital, SV Angel, and Y Combinator. We are tackling the massive mortgage market, developing modern software for an industry that still relies on fax machines and manila envelopes. We bring security, efficiency, and joy to a paper-based pillar of the US economy. As we expand our product offering and tackle a broader swath of customers, we need to grow our team with smart, hungry, and curious people. That’s where you come in…
A true BP role, you will partner closely with the people leaders you support to really understand their corner of the business and the people-related needs/gaps/opportunities in their functions. As a cultural exponent, you will espouse and exemplify Snapdocs’ operating principles and help us continue to build our already strong company culture into something that is a clear differentiator for us. And, don’t forget, we’re still a scrappy, growing startup. The people team you’ll be joining is barely a quarter old. All of this to say that we will need your help as we put foundational people programs into place. Things like: performance management, diversity and inclusion, talent development & feedback, learning and development, manager training, employee engagement & retention, compensation/total rewards, and internal communications.
Our ideal candidate has at least 7 years of overall work experience which likely includes both partnering with business leaders, and leading, defining, developing, and rolling out scalable HR solutions that address the needs of the business. Your ability to lead cross-functionally (this role will touch many, many parts of the organization), patience (for those occasional sticky, tricky people situations), bias for action (we’re a startup), presentation skills, and attention to detail (of course!), will be the foundational attributes that will set you up for success in this role.
Snapdocs’ culture is one that strongly values diversity and drive. We want to work with people of different backgrounds and different paths in life, and we trust our team members to make smart decisions. This means we value independent work as well as collaboration. We provide a range of excellent benefits ranging from the standard stuff (matching 401(k), free lunches, 21 days PTO!) to the not so standard (10-year exercise window on your options!!). And, while our locations - in the heart of the Financial District in SF, and downtown Denver, are both super convenient, we also offer you extreme flexibility in deciding where, exactly, you work best.
See our team here!
