HRBP Job Description
We are currently hiring for an HR Business Partner role at Vertafore. The role will fully partner with the business to lead and integrate company strategies. Additionally this role will provide HR knowledge and expertise across a full spectrum of HR functions (including employment policies and practices, employee relations, compliance, talent management, employee development, and engagement).
KEY RESPONSIBILITES:
- Establish excellent relationships with a wide range of employees, from front line individual contributors to executive leaders; working with all levels on a frequent basis
- Partner with business units to ensure seamless execution of HR functions within the business including workforce strategies, performance management, compensation, and engagement practices
- Build strong partnerships with client groups to foster trust, credibility, and accountability, ensuring the business needs are met in a timely manner and with the highest level of quality
- Maintain knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees
- Facilitate employee relations through management of policies, compliance, conflict resolution, and procedures. Effectively provide feedback and coaching
- Drive business results by identifying key HR issues within the departments you support, and present recommendations and alternatives to increase effectiveness and engagement
- Perform ad-hoc requests and assist with special projects and other initiatives as needed
Skills & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 2-4 years of related experience, or equivalent
- Solid written and verbal communication skills, including strong presentation/facilitation and coaching skills to all levels of the organization
- Excellent judgement, critical thinking, and analytical skills with an ability to identify problems, collect data, and make appropriate recommendations
- Great interpersonal skills, including great collaboration skills
- Flexible, innovative, proactive, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced and evolving work environment
- Excellent organizational skills with an ability to manage competing priorities
