Guild is hiring an HR Administrator. This role works within our People Operations team and is all about supporting and improving the employee experience in order to scale with our company’s rapid growth. The HR Administrator will provide front-line customer service to our employees in the areas of HR, benefits, payroll, and leaves, and be responsible for HRIS data entry and integrity. This role requires a rare combination of great customer service and a love for process improvement. This is a great role for someone who is highly organized, great at working with people, and eager to learn more about HR.

As HR Administrator, you will: 

  • Provide administrative support throughout the employee lifecycle; supporting onboarding & offboarding, background checks, I-9 verifications, employment verifications, maintaining confidential employee e-files ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Answer frequently asked questions from employees and managers relating to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, leaves of absence, etc.
  • Document workflow and procedures, and proactively finding opportunities for process improvement
  • Assist the People Operations team with various projects and initiatives as needed
  • Communicate professionally and maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times, both internally and externally with candidates and vendors
  • Champion data accuracy by managing HR records and data including input, auditing and cleanup in HRIS systems
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams and coordinate projects with multiple stakeholders

Required Competencies

  • Eager to learn and grow within the HR function, passionate about understanding all the areas of HR
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to work effectively with all levels of employees and management
  • Demonstrated ability to act with discretion, and have exceptional integrity and judgment in handling confidential information
  • Strong organizational, attention to detail, and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Willingness to take the initiative, raise their hand for opportunities, and proactively suggest ideas for process improvements


Preferred Competencies

  • Experience working with ADP or any HRIS system
  • Understanding of HR functions and best practices
  • Exceptional customer service experience a HUGE plus
