TeamSnap is seeking an experienced executive assistant to help keep our CEO organized, focused and productive. You should be a cross between MacGyver, Mary Poppins and Indiana Jones, with world-class attention to detail and a passion for always thinking two steps ahead.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll keep our CEO organized and enhance his daily productivity, while having a deep understanding of his dessert preferences (cookies). You will also be TeamSnap’s office manager, keeping our small but dog-intensive headquarters running smoothly. You’ll perform typical administrative tasks (scheduling meetings, coordinating on-site executive summits, negotiating with vendors, ordering supplies, helping with tradeshow and travel needs, etc.) as well as any number of atypical tasks – we’re a fast-moving company and you never know what’s going to happen next.

You won’t just be an order taker – we need someone experienced at teaching the CEO how to work most effectively with his EA. You should be proactive in helping to take tasks off of the CEO’s plate and changing his behavior to make the most valuable use of your skills. All this, while also making sure that we don’t run out of pretzels in the kitchen.

Your experience and attributes

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an executive assistant, office administrator, or similar.
  • Strong communication skills, in person, in writing and by video/phone.
  • Exceptional organizational, prioritization and time management skills.
  • Extreme flexibility and comfort with changing priorities and ambiguity. Things move pretty quickly around here – sometimes you have to turn on a dime.
  • Willingness to go above and beyond.
  • Capable of handling sensitive information with discretion.
  • A strong customer service orientation.
  • Great follow-through and passion for what we do. You totally get why people use and like TeamSnap and think it’s awesome.
  • You are used to working independently, don’t need to ask the same question twice, and have great ideas.
  • Clever, scrappy and creative.
  • Awesome sense of humor with the ability to work with a bunch of comedians – literally. Also, you don’t take yourself too seriously.
  • Ability to support multiple people and their spinning plates simultaneously.
  • Highly computer literate: Microsoft Office Suite, Google Apps, in addition to other SaaS applications.
  • A willingness to pitch in and help whenever and wherever needed. There’s no such thing here as “Not my job.”

Where

Although 80% of our company works remotely, this role is in our Boulder office, because that’s where “the man who runs with bulls” (our CEO) usually works. Also, it’s hard to be an office manager if you’re not, like, in the office.

We're fully remote, but our HQ is located near Pearl Street in Boulder, Colorado within walking distance of countless coffee shops and restaurants.
