Director, Total Rewards at Vertafore (Greater Denver Area, CO)
This position is responsible for design, development, and implementation of Benefits, Compensation, and HR technology for Vertafore. Requires a forward thinking HR professional with excellence depth of knowledge in compensation, benefits and HR shared services functions.
Core Requirements and Responsibilities:
Provide direction, support, development, and guidance to team responsible for compensation, benefits, and HRIS while leading, developing, and executing a long-term compensation and benefits strategy.
Prepare all compensation programs, recommendations and reviews.
Stay current on market trends.
Analyze, design and administer employee benefits programs, including health and welfare, time away from work, and disability plans.
Ensures the organization is fully leveraging its system capabilities through Workday and other tools.
Administer pay-for-performance programs, compensation structures, policy, market pricing, research, cost analysis, trends, and other analytics for compensation and benefits, as well as all other HR programs.
Administer compensation analysis, recommendations, non-cash awards, and related policies, plans, and processes as well as prepare board materials.
Provide day-to-day leadership to drive an approach to total rewards and recognition that is competitive, cost-effective, and aligned to business, team, and individual performance.
Develop HR products and services incorporating process improvements and automation that are employee-focused and cost efficient.
Ensure HRIS functionality includes accurate record-keeping and reporting capabilities that equip managers with the necessary data to facilitate informed business decisions; drive system enhancements to support the needs of employees and company leaders
Lead payroll team that manages and processes payroll for all US based employees. Ensure processes and procedures follow applicable timelines and are compliant with the law. High level oversight into international payroll from a systems perspective.
Maintain current knowledge of related government rules and regulations, including ERISA, FLSA, FMLA, ADA, COBRA, OFCCP, and other applicable labor and/or tax laws and regulations; fulfills compliance and reporting requirements
Oversee immigration program for the full company to include relationship with attorneys, case load, ensuring employees are receiving regular communication and that timelines are generally followed per Vertafore policy.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree and 7+ years of solid knowledge and experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience) of total rewards and shared services.
Expert knowledge of compensation and benefits regulations; working knowledge of state and federal employment law.
Proven track record within multiple HR disciplines including total rewards and employee relations.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; proven ability to communicate effectively and influence all levels of staff.
Adept at handling multiple competing priorities and duties in a fast-paced, results-driven, rapidly changing environment - with minimal daily oversight.
Excellent leadership and mentoring skills.

Travel required up to 10% of the time.
Located and working from an office location.
Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds.
Frequent repetitive hand and arm movements required to operate a computer.
