Director, Talent Acquisition

| Greater Denver Area

The Talent Acquisition Director will lead Marketo's global talent acquisition strategy and process, and will develop talent acquisition programs and strategies that ensure successful hiring of talent and organizational objectives. The Director will also be responsible for managing and developing a talent acquisition team responsible for high-volume talent acquisition in a rigorous process including assessments and a metric driven model of delivering high quality candidates, and an efficient and continuously improving recruiting engine with the ability to influence and partner with the organization (leaders and execs) to gain buy in and achieve mutual goals.
Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Leading and developing an international team to build a highly efficient and high volume talent acquisition team 
  • Developing talent acquisition strategies, policies and procedures - from sourcing to onboarding top talent 
  • Maximizing global talent acquisition systems to enable strategic decisions and manage a metric driven business
  • Leading global talent acquisition branding efforts, positioning the company as a premier organization 
  • Developing talent acquisition best practices for our portfolio of global technology companies; continuously updating processes based on new talent acquisition trends 
  • Effectively managing and participating in full cycle talent acquisition including sourcing, applicant testing, interviewing, presenting, conducting background checks, and closing qualified candidates 
  • Providing excellent applicant and internal customer service 

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of talent acquisition experience 
  • Minimum of 3 years managing a team with proven results 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage performance of direct reports, including developing less experienced talent
  • Strong understanding of talent acquisition strategies and ability influence and partner with business leaders 
  • Ability to be strategic towards business outcomes and manage metrics and daily deadlines 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, and remain focused under pressure 
  • Demonstrated consultative skills and ability to use data to influence decision making
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt communication style to different audiences
