What you will do:
As Director, Implementation at automotiveMastermind, you will be accountable for the end-to-end implementation of all automotiveMastermind customers. You will lead a team of 5-7 implementation specialists located in both the US and Canada that are responsible for the data integration, site setup, and configuration of each of our customers' instances. We will rely on you to ensure we achieve our targets for quality, speed, and scale while also meeting company revenue targets. You will coach and mentor a dynamic team to delight our customers through the implementation process, applying expert knowledge, providing strategic direction, and solving complex problems to move the business forward. Your ability to collaborate and influence internal cross-functional partners across the commercial, product, engineering, and data teams will be critical to your and our customers' success. With little oversight, the Director, Implementation will ensure proper project management, communication, and strategic direction of the team is set and executed upon.
Specific responsibilities will include:
  • Providing direction and people leadership while motivating and supporting a growing team of implementation specialists that delivers successful implementations for our new customers
  • Continually improving our key business processes and tools to drive successful outcomes for our clients
  • Accurately forecasting projects, resources, and revenue against targets
  • Communicating to executive leadership team on strategic priorities & targets
  • Building relationships with key 3rd party integration partners
  • Creating new processes and refine existing processes to meet KPI goals related to implementation speed and customer satisfaction
  • Overseeing team progress to ensure key support quality and SLA targets are met
  • Developing business cases for investment in people, processes, and tools
  • Collaborating internally with commercial, product, engineering, and data teams
  • Recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, and managing additional implementation specialists

A Successful Director of Implementation will have:
  • Strong leadership skills and growth mindset
  • Proven track record of the ability to influence and collaborate with internal stakeholders
  • Intense focus on customer success and outcomes
  • Goal-oriented with a drive for operational excellence
  • Clear and succinct verbal and written communication acumen
  • Sharp and creative problem-solving skills
  • Automotive database / technology experience
  • Sound project management background and fundamentals

Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelors' degree
  • 7+ years' professional experience, preferably in software and/or automotive industry
  • Team leadership experience
  • Implementation and delivery background
  • Comfortable with technology, and an understanding of process-based tools

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Auto industry experience or auto databases a plus
  • Salesforce.com experience a plus

Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Generally, work is performed Monday through Friday, though holidays and weekends may be required.
